just a mild suggestion.. (First off i love your vids) but damn.. the background music should be lowered by about 25%.. lol.. your voice blended with it..
Thomas always gets a 👍
You're the best, Alex!!!
An excellent overview!
A nice little tank ....
seems to evoke the acronym "JAF," just add fish. On second though, "just add fish & corals."
Thanks for the introduction and insights,
Jim
The larger tanks with external overflow....aka RS and WB killers....CANNOT WAIT TO STOCK these in the store
Love the fact that they don’t come with a sump. Let’s the customer choose.
How the heck is it the size of a 10 gallon, yet it's 14 gallons??
Because of the rear chamber
Jesus that intro made me jump.
📣 SORRY ABOUT THAT 😉
can these be used for fresh water to ?
Of course :)
What light would you guys recommend for a tank this size? I was looking at the Prime line but reviews aren't great for that model.
I have the 14 gallon Peninsula and I'm running the AI Prime 16hd and it works fantastic. No issues with the light. Corals doing great under them.
@@Reefkpr1 Awesome, I'll grab one of those then. Thanks for the reply!
What @reefkpr said. I have the old version of this tank as well. I have an old AI prime on mine. Perfect light for it.
I have this tank and run a Prime, it's perfect.
What specific skimmers and mini reactors are best for that?
Black silicone makes tanks look smaller lol, I will never understand why people prefer it.
I don't disagree but black is typically an urethane and lasts longer ...doesn't attract algae as much and takes more abuse from scrapers....
@@Sammy31Dee I did not know that! Thanks, still hate it but now I see why others think those benefits outweigh the drawback.
What are the measurements of this aquarium?
Do you have any recommendations? 🤔 Looking for a roughly 28 gallon tank (plus or minus few gallons. Space I have can fit max 35 so gallons (31in w, 19 deep, and up to 24in). Looking at IM, Clear Life, or Waterbox.
Nice breakdown of this tank! Though a bit small for what I want
Waterbox has a 20 gallon Cube and a 25 peninsula Innovative Marine has a 20 gallon cube and peninsula right up to a 50 gallon
I can't see the justification for a $330 price tag when the fluval evo 13.5 is basically the same size and comes with a nice lid that incorporates a 14k light..... all for under 200.🤔
Evo doesn't even have opti white glass. Yuck.
@@tompage8674 ok......
Evo is a budget AIO system, and most people who keep them going for any length of time end up removing the top and upgrading the lighting etc. The glass is also thinner, and not low iron, meaning it has a greenish tint. They are just not on the same playing field; that isn't to say the Fluval Evo tanks aren't a good budget starting point! They absolutely are and can be a great way to encourage new folks to get into the hobby!
@@ThomasBReef i thought this was a budget aio as well. guess I'm the exception with fluvals. I Added 2 blue led strips that have built in timers under the lid next to the stock light in my fluval. Have had no problem with green tint in glass and growing coal like crazy.
@@Mmanifesto22 green tint is pretty minimal when the glass is thin; it's definitely more noticeable on larger aquariums with thicker glass. And that's awesome! Adding extra to the stock lighting is a great alternative to a whole new light!
Yes their QC seems to be really bad. A few years ago, I got one of their all in one tank, the partition wall was leaking, so sand would creep into the sump, because the acrylic wall was not properly glued down, I went to their Cerritos HQ no less than 3 separate times for exchanges. Their support was decent enough, by the time I got my third exchanged tank, I just sold it new, I bought waterbox instead, quality was superior. Too scared to pick up their tanks again.
