I really wish Manufacturers would update the wiring to/from the ECU to something with higher bandwidth. Looking at any live data of information at 5 fps is ROUGH, lol.
It's more of how the CAN bus works. It basically is asking for messages, and the PCM writes it back to the module. It's quick when you only have a few things, but that module is probably getting a lot of PIDs at the same time. The more PIDs, the slower the refresh is

A lot of it comes down to the fact that the communication buses aren't designed for that kind of data travel. And way Kool with visual appeal. I like what kinds of readings it adds to your info accessibility. Very informative. Perfect for the detailed oriented drivers. Just makes it simple to keep an eye on everything you might wish to K on about how your car is running. Seamless interface and looks just like it was meant to be there from factory. SIMPLY BRILLIANT MOD!!!

So is it just the frame rate of the camera that makes it look like it has latency issues? I’ve seen this product and every video looks like data is jumpy. P.S. your turbo is not turboing. Lol
It's the bandwidth you get when pulling data from the OBD2 port (which they've essentially T'd into). Same thing as when I try to pull up rpms/boost/fuel trim from my 2002 WRX Cobb Accessport... the OEMs havnt updated to a universally faster connection.
I put rubber/plastic snakes or spiders in my passenger sun visor so when someone pulls it down it falls out and they freak the hell out. Sometimes i forget that they're there though.

I recently had this issue try checking the holes that the original blue and white wires connect into. Should be white #9 blue #10.

It’s funny bc I was tuning I had to expose my ecu and they all 10 mm, and I only found one of the 10mm bolts when I went to put the ecu back in place

The screen has a little bit more latency but it looks great overall. Definitely not Ferrari level quality for a passenger dash but it works
