- The Batman 2004 cartoon theme from The Edge combined with The Batman 2022 theme composed by Micheal Giacchino. Ever since the film title was revealed I thought of this classic series and its unique soundtrack. Both the Matt Reeves film and the cartoon feature a younger Bruce Wayne and a Batman in the early days of his crime-fighting career. The theme for the 2004 animated series is mysterious and detective/noir inspired with a thumping crescendo which conveys the action of the series. The 2022 theme is simple but effective and the tone of the film was also detective oriented. Both the series and the themes mix well. Enjoy!

More Batman music on my channel and more to come...
For everyone saying that they missed the creepy "The Batmaan" voice at the end, I hear you! Most of my later arrangements feature it, including this original suite of music inspired by The Batman (2004), which features an orchestral revamp of the main theme! : ruclips.net/video/AqSB58uBfwM/видео.html
I think you should be a composer for action movies they would hire you in a heartbeat!
Please tell me this is on spotify
@@Empenguin Not yet, but I'm planning on it!
@@Miles_Tarrant I'd listen to it on loop!
@Miles_Tarrant can't wait
Thing I always liked about The Batman was how it had horror elements, but Bruce Wayne was still somewhat stable and healthy, even had a friend from his old basket ball team he would make time to hang out with. The lighter scenes made the darker scenes pop out more.
Yep I agree. It was a younger Batman too. While I don't mind the brooding, that series' Bruce was a nice change of pace, and I loved the "future" episodes of that show as well
Yeah
@@usmanqureshi8941seconds was a good one too
Oh, yes, the friend that he failed to save
@@finnality
If you're referring to Clayface (Ethan Bennet) he eventually got reformed and willingly got himself cured by Batman. Though his Clayface "essence" (his blood, though it's visibly not blood) got stolen and consumed by Basil Karlo, which turned him into the second Clayface.
NO MATTER HOW MANY INCARNATIONS EXISTS
*THE BATMAN 2004 WILL ALWAYS REMAIN AS MY FAVORITE*
don't reatch the show, I did and it doesn't hold up. Edit: never mind, it has some pretty great episodes like "Seconds", the wrath and scorn one, the joker ones, the robin intro and more.
@leafyishereisdumbname aka ThanosetalgicMemeories yeah he can be entitled to his own opinion. The Arkham games and BTAS are my favorite but I understand why he likes 2004
@@ihavespoken9871 I like BTAS and the 2004 show used to be one of my favorites but compared to BTAS and Gotham and other stuff and just on rewatch, it's jus pretty shallow. As an adult, I just have to stop watching it because the episodes are so... episodic and simple. Not all are bad, there's a lot of decent ones like the one where batman loses his memory and kidnapped by penguin. And many other episodes. The Joker from the 2004 show and designs are still my favorites. That Joker was very well written. But the characters still feel 1-dimensional except clayface and maybe riddler. Or Harley, she's good. And Rumor and a select few others.
@leafyishereisdumbname aka ThanosetalgicMemeories I understand what you mean. BTAS always had better writing, and I do agree 2004 episodes seem a bit shallow and episodic (except the Clay Face episodes) but the writers main focus was on the smooth animation and great action sequences, which I think they definitely succeeded at achieving. That’s why The Joker in this version is one of the only Jokers to be able to go toe to toe on Batman and win, because the writers wanted more of that.
My favorite Batman TV show is The Batman
It would’ve been way cooler to hear “The Batman” at the end. Y’know?
I was waiting to hear it, and got confused when it didn’t play. lol
It wouldn’t be cinematic enough I guess
I was thinking the same thing
Nah you’re getting it wrong. It’s “the batmaaaaan”
@@kanyerahming lol
the 2004 theme is so underrated so it's lovely to hear it done justice in a mashup! Great work!
Facts
YESS!! AGREE
Facts but what's even more facts is that the word underrated is underrated
The whole show is more than underrated its on the same level as Spectacular Spider-Man great in my book! The Theme song is awesome, The characters look uniquely well except Riddler, Rino Romano suited Batman very well almost like Conroy level type good, and Kevin Michael Richardson is very underrated as The Joker I mean he sounds the part and looks psychotic in the show but maybe a little too much but that's completely alright
Show gets a 9.5/10
The show it self is so underrated along with Batman vs Dracula I would like to see more movies like that or see the show redone with same va and art style I just hope if they do not to do it like what they did to teen titans
When you're holding up a convenience store in Gotham and the lights suddenly go out:
I’d be surprised if most Gotham thugs wouldn’t have pissed themselves at least once.
I'm writing a Batman movie and the tone is heavily influenced by the 2004 show. I wanted to add horror elements, show Batman off in a scarier light than normal. Dude, this is EXACTLY the kind of music I had in mind!!!
Seriously, this is incredible
Edit: 8 months later and I'm just now seeing everyone's comments, thank you all so much for you kind words of support. I'm still working hard on it (as well as some more original works) as we speak. It is my life dream to make films and this Batman horror film of mine I hope so one day see on the big screen. I'm going to keep working hard!
I hope to see your Batman movie on the big screen one day.
Send me the movie ! I realy want to see that!
Pls tell more, pls.
I’m actually interested to see how this’ll turn out. Please keep us posted
I'd love to read it when you get finished man. I'm a writer myself and I'm writing a Batman Film as well coincidently lol
I've wished this was the actual soundtrack of Matt Reeves "THE BATMAN" . AWESOME!
Someone should send this to him
Imagine something like this for number two
Hearing those guitar riffs always gave me such a nostalgia trip with that series!
Combining my two favorite Batman themes, legendary
Truly missed opportunity without that wheezy, "The Bat-mmaaaaaaannnn" at the end
So the Batman (2004) was my introduction to the detective hero. I hold it special to me not only because of that, but it came out the same year I was born. So you can say I literally grew up with this show.
Somebody get this man a batgrammy🏆
All I needed was that voice at the end saying "The Batman" at the end great work tho man.🔥
This is the most awesomest Batman theme I have ever heard. Someone tell Matt Reeves to use this for The Batman 2
I just rescored the Batman "I am vengeance" scene with this and it fits so well thank you so much
I'm glad you like it, just please don't upload your rescore online like I have asked in the description. Thanks : )
@@Miles_Tarrant Nah don't worry it's just for my personal enjoyment
Damn guess I'll never be able to experience that 🫠
Always loved 2004's The Batman and its theme - this is done so well, nice work!
Agreed!
i definitely felt the influence of the batman (2004) in the batman (2022), among many other themes
dude the 2004 show was my jam, i grew up on the original animated series but i was a massive fan of The Batman 04' show; i loved how the Joker was actually able to hold his own against Batman and was actually Terrifying to see him move and his voice actor was top tier. i even played the game Cobblepot Caper on the Cartoon Network website; miss those days
2004 theme is dope asf.
Man, grew up with this show- and I love The Batman, this is perfect!!
Words can’t explain how much I love The Batman it’ll always hold a special place in my heart esp the og theme song for it
Nice. Not too intense, and it has quality all throughout
I remember when the first look at Robert as Batman came out. I went back to the original theme song and I said "imagine this was Pattinson's theme" and tbh, with the way this is composed, it fits pretty well. You just add the "The baaatmaaan" voice at the end and you got something great
Holy Molly! This is even better than expected. I love the 2004 series as well as the 2022 movie, and this is Justice for both 👌
2004 Batman is underrated and under appreciated
YES THE BATMAN 2004 WAS MY FAVORITE SHOW AS A KID!!! SEEING THE TWO THEMES TOGETHER BRAUGHT BACK MEMORIES!!!
I loved the theme for this, it really captures that darkness that Batman resides in on the streets of Gotham trying to be a light in such a dark place
I’m just gonna say that the combination of both of the themes was so beautiful and mysterious which kinda fits the tone of The Batman (movie)
Holy fucking shit, now this sound like vengeance 🤘
You needed to put the part of the 2004 song at the end where it says, "The Batmannn" but other than that i loved this. It feels amazing to see my childhood batman get brought the attention he deserves, the mans is a real goat, just like you for makin this
If Matth Reeves was creating not The Batman movie, but The Batman animated series - majestic mashup!
Perfect theme mashup for my all-time favorite superhero. 😊🦇
I remember this Batman cartoon. When I was a kid. My favorite Batman cartoon.
Best animated series with best soundtrack. Huge like from me, with all my heart
The 2004 The Batman Bruce was one of the most stable and down to earth versions of the character, sure he may have gotten his butt kicked a few times but he kept on going. So he maintains his trademark stubborn streak but thats about it. No drama or intrigue just cases and finding a solution to them. The only drama was living up to his parents legacy while being Batman. Thats it. Refreshing.
This is hands down one of the GREATEST Batman themes EVER! Amazing work dude! You're a mastermind. 🦇
This...Is...Awesome!
They fit so well together.
This Series will always be my favourite
and This version of Batman will always be my favourite
He might have not been the 'STRONGEST BATMAN' but he probably was the 'HAPPIEST BATMAN'
two great batman masterpieces
One is peek animation one is peek cinema
PLEASE ADD THIS TO SPOTIFY I WOULD LOVE LISTENING TO IT
This was everything I ever wanted in life. Please play this at my funeral

Favorite part
2004 gave us claws on batman which I'll forever love
Amazing to see my favorite Batman series get some love! ♥️
My two favorite Batman themes, both with the same title! I didn't think of this somehow but this is great 😂
In 1.25 is perfect
Epic work. The mix is subtle but distinct. Subbed
This is it for me. Life is complete.
Perfection!!!
Love this music fusion, it seems like it would be part of the OG soundtrack
The Batman is one of the best animated series EVER❗️
I loved both the movie and the show, me and my brother watched both, we always used to watch that show, and I tried solo watching it not long ago too. Thank you, loved it! ❤️
i have no idea why this show is so underrated. i wish i could go back to those days. glad to see the attention it truly deserves!
It sounds so dramatic, these themes apart sounds pleasing, but combined they sounds even better
Helps differentiate the Batman movie theme from being basically the imperial march with two notes less
My Soul shining in Enjoyment ^ ^
ThankYou = )
That was incredible! I wish Rino Romano could return as Batman
Honestly might be my 2 favorite Batman themes so hearing them together is incredible!!!!! Think I prefer The Batman's theme by just a smidge but they're both astounding
This is Awesome, congrats!!
I have been waiting for this! Didn’t think someone would actually make it!!!
I’m gonna say that Robert Pattersons Batman is this Batman and you know what that’s impressive
The Theme is Awesome! When you mashup the 2004 Theme with the 2022 Theme, it becomes The Batman Theme.
Loved this, the 2004 series was amazing.
That was a really good mashup
Need this on Spotify my guy.
OMG THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL... I CAN'T...AAAAAHHHH
This is soo good, amazing that you thought of combining these. Great job!
DAMN! You made this sounds freaking incredible! I got chills listening to this!!
It's beautiful
Ngl, putting the “The Batman…” from the 2004 show at the end, or an orchestral version, would have been soo cool. Great work on this either way! 😁
Bro we need this for an hour
Spellbounded!!
Wtfff nigga wtffff this shit dope af
*“I’m starting to see now. I have had an effect here. But not the one I intended. Vengeance, won’t change the past. Mine… or anyone else’s. I have to become more. People need hope. To know someone’s out there for them. This city's angry, and scarred. Like me. Our scars can destroy us… even after the physical wounds have healed. But if we can survive them. They can give us the power. To Endure. And the strength to fight.”* - The Batman
I love this and I almost see this playing in the batman 2
I'm pretty sure the audience would go crazy if they heard this
Goes hard. Used to love the 2004 cartoon so much as a kid, especially the opening.
You’re doing the work of the Lord. Keep it up
THIS RULES
"The Batmaaaaaaaaaaan!"
Duuuuude this is soooo metal memories sweet memories loved the animation wow thank you
This is just beautiful. Congrats man
The Batman 2004 is my favorite one
Perfect , perfect , every things
So awesome! The Batman 2004 is so nostalgic for me and I'm so happy to see so many others coming out of the woodworks in recent years that feel the same about this gem.
“Elements of the past and the future, combining to make something not quite as good as either!!!”

The 2004 carton was how I was introduced to Batman
Excellent makes me miss that series
1:18 "the batman!" 🦇
This is rad. The only thing I wish was included was the eerie voice saying “The Batman” at the end of the 2004 song but otherwise great mashup!
The Batman 2004 was sadly very underrated and should've been given a longer life span. Two more seasons to establish itself as the new BTAS for the post 9/11 kids would've really helped the franchise.
"I'm batman you are dust"
Why is this so perfict?!
The Batman 2004 theme has been my favorite theme like ever. Listening this mashup with the 2022 Batman sounds interesting.👀👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
This. Is . Art.
I like that my guy😂
How many times you watched this ?
Me:yes
Did you watch it at 1.25x speed?
I dont think ive heard anything brilliant as this b4 when it comes to music mash-up scores. U sir nailed this
