Not many NBA players are truly entertaining to listen to. Shump is definitely one of them. He's down to earth and got jokes yet he's very insightful at the same time.
For a guy who disappeared in huge games for the Cavs. I dont know how many APB's that had been put out on the guy in the playoffs and finals. Him and JR Smith.
I can’t fake. My favorite part of their show is the favorite Kobe moment. Hearing these professionals break down one of the most iconic players in NBA history is always special. I feel like my favorite player is still here with us for a moment.
One of my favorite episodes. Shump is a great storyteller, but it's his basketball IQ that gives his stories so much substance imo. A true student of the game.
Iman living a full life…had a good NBA career, got an NBA championship, married an absolute queen, had 2 kids with her, retired and is now KILLING the podcast game and is making music….what a good thing to see
I can listen to Shump all day long, simply the best interview anyone can get. Still can't believe the Knicks let this man and Smith go to the Cavs in 2015 for Alex Kirk, Lou Amundson, and a 2019 2nd rd pick along with Lance Thomas from the Thunder. Still shaking my head.
Knicks had terrible draft moves back then. In 2019, they would have had the 31st pick in the 2nd rd, but in 2014, Phil Jackson as one of his 1st moves as president of basketball operations, traded Travis Outlaw and the 2019 second-round pick to the 76ers for Arnett Moultrie. The Knicks then waived Moultrie. I'm not sure where this pick from the Cavs went, but the Knicks didn't keep it, they ended up with the 46th pick in 2019 and drafted Ignas Brazdeiki. I think the Nets ended up with the Knicks 31st pick and got Nick Claxton. You might find the history if you dig on the draft pages.@@tyh.rodriguez7300
They was the missing piece for the cavs to be contenders ..knicks took a L for that but I’m glad they got both of them and not just one of them cuz they a package deal and their chemistry is organic
I appreciate Iman so much for what he did in the league defensively, his basketball IQ, his personality and his storytelling. Talented dude. Prayers for him and his family. We need to see Iman on a permanent talk show situation 💪🏽
HOF? With him disappearing and being rendered useless on many games in the finals and playoffs? I thought he clearly should have been let go in 2017 for a more formidable and dependable scorer to add versatility in the Cavs offense. His defense was a joke in the finals and his shooting was very inconsistent, i dont know who was the clown that decided to keep him and JR Smith on the team for the 2018 season. Same unreliable inconsistent players, different season, same result... Even worse, a finals sweep.
I swear I ain’t never mad at a Shump interview bruh it’s always madd interesting and sometimes entertaining too but the game he kick or the interesting facts he drop or stories he reminisce about always just top tier for me man. Hella nostalgic with shit even before his time in the league he be knowing about man. I love Shump interviews bruh and I was happy asl when he came to Cleveland I just wish he got the bean more on O but he still was able to give us some Knocktapes type moments him and JR and I’m glad they both was here for that ring. Bigg part of that chip period wouldn’t have got it without them in my eyes. Respect. Love Shump. Wish you was still hoopin too bruh
I love how NBA dudes are killing these podcasts ….tired of hearing from the Stephen a s of the world that ain’t play a damn lick! Great show y’all! Shump good stories man

I mean he got a podcast he talks about a lot of stuff but that just who Iman is ..he’s multi talented and his passion goes past basketball ..such a dope individual who is very wise beyond his years
The RayAllen storytelling is on another level. Where he says Ray Allen ran up to him like.”welcome “ and how imun kind of like whispered, but didn’t say anything almost like gave the illusion of Time stop. If you know you know, but that was mad crazy he needs like a movie roll or something
Time stamp 1:35 to Quick hitters made makes me respect Shump even more! We all go through stuff, even when they’re famous with money! Needed to hear that, keep grinding ❤️🙏🏽💯🔥

That early Knicks Shump was the best version of his career, imo. Defensive monster & he was getting buckets. Aggressive & smart. He was a real dawg.
Yeah that injury really upset me. He was my favorite player out that draft. He has an underdogs game.
I thought he could be a star for a split second
Loved him with the Knicks
Yeah, Im not a Knicks fan but was disappointed when he took that injury
Yea but that Cavs shumpert was like a young vet 🧠💯
