Thank you, for me it is really interesting to learn how to create RUclips videos in English, so in future you can expect more videos about longboading with my comments
@@konan8353 you can check how I did it in 2019 ruclips.net/video/CpZZ0M2Q1nA/видео.html Also I have two ideas for you how you can do it: try on a wet ground or try to do a toe side glove down slide but put your hand down later than usual for getting this feeling initiation a slide without gloves
Any tips for a slightly overweight person trying to learn coleman slide? I cant seem to commit fully to laying my hand down, and when I do I end up leaning all weight on hand
I don't think that weight can interfere to do Coleman slide. If you can sit down in it, you definitely can do it. Maybe it even can be easier because you have more potential energy for breaking traction. So here are some tips for you: - Grab your board during the Coleman but not between legs - Try to do it in a curve - Put your back leg on its side (back leg knee should lie on the front foot and be locked by your deck grab) - Don't put your glove on the ground far from you. Otherwise, you will be stretched along the road (it looks like your problem) - And do as many tries as you can😉
seeing this learning process in real time is really motivating! i learned the coleman and am working on stand ups

Trying doing them In the rain, helps to get the movement
I got both hands down slides in a few days (not well), but haven't done a single standup slide in about a month of practice
