- in today’s video we are preparing the ground and sowing the last of our winter barley for the year. We broadcast spread the barley seed onto the harrowed ground and then gave the land a light 2nd run of the Harrow to burry the seed. Also the video did not go as I had planned it and I did not get to video any of the sowing happening but how and ever

Docks tend to grow in areas that get compacted or torn up more, patches with troughs and gateways etc tend to be worst affected

Farm I worked at in the 1970s used to broad cast all the crops with a Tasker trailer spreader. No tram lines to follow when spraying just a foam blob marker.

Well that's something different. I though Adrian was the only one that sowed anything with the fertiliser spreader. An interesting method of sowing barley. No tramlines. Will be nice to have a look with the drone when it starts greening up.

That’s a good harrow does a good job pity it’s not a 4 mitre though and the 3690 would be well able to handle a 4 mtr

Can I ask why you didn't use your seeder for it instead of the spreader? We have no faith in a spreader for anything other than NPK! Love the content as ever keep it up

Phil which tractor do u rate better the 6290 or the 6490 series
Both great tractors but I prefer the gearbox in the 6290 but I also prefer the datatronic in the 6499

Quite well. Some of the headlands are poor due too compaction but other than that it done good
