- Setting up a DIY natural background for my Leopard Gecko terrarium.
Stuff i used for my background:
Styrophoam
Expanding foam (3 bottles)
Styrophoam glue
Tile adhesive (approx. 4.5kg)
Color (1 full bottle anthracite, a bit of white and blue)
5 brushes
Bucket
Knife
Toothpicks
Tape
Gloves
Tupperware (humid hide)
Don't wear your favourite clothes.. ;)
!While aplying the expanding foam always keep the windows open and wear gloves, it's nearly impossible to remove it from skin or clothes!

Really creative idea! Your gecko will really like it!
Thanks for the idea :)
I actually remade it for my gecko with a couple adjustments so she can climb in it and she loves it I just covers it with cement
Beautiful set up amazing job
I would do it but my mom would NEVER let me
I like your videos. Take off more often.
Nice video
verry helpful
Is this how you made the background in your Underwoodasauras Milli enclosure set up?
The background in the underwoodisaurus tank wasn't made by me personally, but yes it was the same principle.
@@3012ftp thank you for getting back to me. What is the white material you cut up and stuck on the enclosure?
@@kristydavenport7181 you're very welcome :) The white thing is styrofoam. and i also used expanding foam out of the spraybottle
What do you do for the heating mat?
I don't use any. I use a heat bulb which heats up a piece of slate during the day.
@@3012ftp if i'm not wrong geckos obtains energy by heat underneath instead of upside, but still maybe if the bulb heats enough the basking spot it is ok.
@@webodeescorpion7037 in nature the sun heats up the rocks which i'm replicating by a bulb that heats up the piece of slate on which they can heat their bellies when light's out or even during the day
@@webodeescorpion7037 heating mats can short-circuit and cause burns, a heating lamp on some rocks is much safer.
