Krayzie Bones verse and flow in this is absolute fire. I don’t see how he isn’t a massively popular mainstream rapper. I know he has a successful career, but he def deserves more recognition.
Bone won an American Music Award in 98 that cause RZA to say they wasn't real Hip-Hop on Tim Westwood which lead to Krayzie Bone sending shots in the second verse of Ain't Said No Names
Wu tang was always overated and meh as to me. Bunch of random BS. Not really rappin about nothing. They got a few ok stracks. But bonethugs is so far ahead ans superior in every way imo
A few things; yes Layzie lost a child. Flesh was around for "The Art Of War", he's featured on several tracks. S&L was released during a low period in Bone's career. By this time, Flesh was incarcerated and Bizzy was currently not a part of the group. They were able to get an American Music Award for "I Tried", but the album didn't get much recognition.
Flesh was featured on only 6 tracks, mostly due to him being signed to Def Jam at the time but also many tracks were altered by Tomica Wright, attempting to head the group into a new direction. Such tracks include Thug Luv with Sylk-E. Fyne, If I Could Teach the World, Friends, Ready For War and many others.
I can only go so long without hearing Bone. It's interesting seeing yall youngsters reacting to it and also appreciating and realizing where that flo came from.
I remember that beef, pre-internet. We bought magazines like The Source and XXL checking up on all the newness. 🤦🏻♂️😂 Twista's "Crook County" verse was a 'hip hop quotable.'
You gotta do Layzie Bone solo tracks man! Specifically: Listen, As the rain, and Thug by Nature. You might have done thug by nature lol I don't remember but if anything, you gotta do " lock n load" by Layzie too 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I promise bro, you will love all and any of those tracks
Flesh was not locked up during the recording of this album he’s on this album just. Not every song flesh was locked up during the recording of the Thug World Order Album
I will always say it Krayzie & Bizzy are 1A/ 1B talents but Layzie & Krayzie are always the best 2 on Bone albums especially after Creeping on Ah Come Up & E.1999
Great songs that Bizzy bone voice sounds heavenly on. Hopefully you react to them. Got my people dying These are my family Jazzy Some of you Trails and tribulations Baby mama He ain’t mine My story Jesus

It damn near went platinum in 07 when nothing was going platinum
