I've got a recommendation that you don't see often. It's off of this same Art Of War album called "Ready 4 War".

Bone brought up 1999 a lot because of the street they hung out on has a lot of significance to them, but also because they bought into the whole Y2K the world is ending craze. They have religious influence intertwined into their lyrics especially Krayzie and Bizzy which were proponents of the end of the days stories from the book of revelations.
On a separate note, their first two projects (Creepin On Ah Come Up and E. 1999 Eternal) are fine to react to without lyrics because while they were fire they weren’t as deep, but I think from the Art of War moving forward it might be better to react with lyrics. Reason I say this is because at that point they had matured and it reflected in their lyrics. And I know it’s hard to catch all their lyrics at first., but besides experiencing it sonically you get another layer of complexity to the song. For example in this track they touch on personal experiences that might be missed without reading the lyrics. Layzie in the first verse talks about his son that passed away. Bizzy is speaking on his past. Wish as well mentioning his thoughts on his parents from when he was younger. Krayzie didn’t really get too personal on this one. Sorry for the long comment 😅 but great reaction. Always love the Bone reactions. I would love if you checked out It’s All Real from the same album. It’s a Krayzie Bone solo.

Listen to Krayzie alternate version if this, he does touch family on a persona issue, but he put it on he's own album, that's why I've always wonder why all the members rapping about their personal lives besides Krayzie, well now you know, just listen to the alternate version, its on here, theres like 2 different versions of this song
