Your account is going to be a lot of help for my annual school poject! My school has every student make a project of their choosing where they have to personally learn and do whatever they picked. I chose taxidermy, and it's going to be so much fun! Learning taxidermy, from what i've gotten so far, is no easy road. Personally, I see this as an art and way of giving eternal life to a being. and taxidermy in itself, not only does it take the hand of zoology, but science and also art. It teaches anatomy and also the preservation of wildlife, also giving us the insight of how animals look like up close. Thank you for this amazing piece.
Thank you very much for your message. I’m so glad you are finding it quite useful. Keep scrolling through my playlists there are hundreds of of videos to watch and learn. Good luck.
Good evening Ben! Loved the Blues Jazzy background music. Loved the intro opening credit first time I've seen that one. Loved how you had the wheat push down in front of the badger, fantastic! Beautiful I work and finish work Ben. Question, did you roll a small bead of clay around the mouth for the upper lip? Although this video was super fast and had no commentary I still loved it and learn from it. Thanks Michael Bieda, Buckeye Arizona
Thanks Michael fir the comments. Yes I always use a small clay roll on the upper lip to close up the mouth gap neatly. In my newer mammal videos you will see that a lot. And yes my older videos didn’t have the voice over. They were just time lapse. Cheers
@@finq0997 I would never , and I feel like this tXidermy is mostly for people who feel the same way as I’ve seen people use roadkill dead pet etc commissions I think it’s mainly Mooses heads on walls and hunters that make it seem dishonourable

Where do you get the badger mold?
Any taxidermy supply.
What’s the stitch called for sewing up the taxidermy mount? Looks like a ladder stich but I can’t tell.
For long haired animals like this you can use baseball stitch.
Wow... What animal can you not do?
Wow I really love these and would want to do one but obviously not kill the animal !
that would be so rude to do that to a living animal.

Lots of road kills happen every year every where.
@@miafallon3186how is that dishonorable when we mount animals as a way to honor them?
