You are very welcome. I wish I went more detailed honestly. But I did cover mostly every button in the car lol. The dealership was closing so I had to rush a little
Very nice looking vehicle and here's a fun fact that's really unexpectedly true; this car is top rated to be the safest car in the world as for right now.
@@1689solas On Google, there was a list of the world's safest cars but the first to top the list was this 2022 Genesis G70, and my comment was from 6 months ago, so you are replying late that's why I said "for right now", because it could change.
Well I am not like other reviewers. I do my videos differently. I have POV drive videos and I have full detailed videos like this one. You can find the POV drive video on my channel if you search for it :)
My main question since I'll probably be getting a 2.0T G70 with the Prestige Package, how does the engine sound? I watched some videos that said it was eh. Obviously, the 3.3TT sounds better and amazing for the car, but due to my budget I'll probably be going for the 2.0T so wanted to ask. It's a very similar engine to the lower Benz 2.0T Inline 4 cylinder engines with 180-220HP and those sound amazing, I'd assume it sounds kind of sporty considering its 250HP in there. lmk :), great video
do you think the 2.0t is a bit slow in any way? (obviously the 3.3 is quite much faster and both trims aren't sluggish) oh and also, are the back seats really as tight as everyone says? on paper its the same as the sonata but I haven't seen any complains about that one
@@cjaden the legroom is both tightened and shortened. There are a few inches less leg room in the back seat of the g70 vs the Sonata. I would recommend seeing them in person because it’s much more significant than you would think.
i had the 2020 2.0t and its fast but you need to get used to the turbo lag (takes like 1/2 a second to spool up and then you get the boost). i swapped it this weekend for the 2022 3.3t and i dont have any issue with the lag.
The back side of the front seats are plastic just like Hyundai. Wtf? That's cheap! They need the same leatherette material to make it consistent. Come on Genesis cut the cheap ass stuff!
@@Iegend17 i think $41k for a base 2.0t g70 is way too expensive. I got my 2022 g70 last November for 52k (out the door). And that was for the most specced out 3.3 model!
That’s what I was looking for - base model! Thank you very much for detailed review!

For a base trimmed car, it's absolutely beautiful! Especially the wheels!
Definitely!
Agreed. I like the 3.3 but can't afford it.
@@brianbachmeier34 This 2.0 can be a good option! I like 3.3 as well but not everyone can afford it so this can be a good alternative!
Finally someone who reviews base cars instead of fully loaded 😂
Thanks for showing the base model!

Good review thanks for showing the base model. I get so tired of seeing reviews, on the ultimate package or whatever they call it.
Overall very nice for the base model, if it had quad exhaust tips I'll pull the trigger!
that’s what the 3.3. is for
All about that base, bout that base, base model.
Thanks for this great review.
Thank you so much. I appreciate it! :) I have a test drive too :)
I'm getting the Tasman Blue base model. That color is awesome.
Yes it’s very nice for sure
If you pick the rear wheel drive option and the base color that comes with you can get this for 38k out the door
Thanks for the car tour. Are you able to change to lower gears in the g70? (I didn't see it in the Shifter)
With the paddles shifters only sadly.
they got rid of the manual, apparently only 5 people bought them
Exactly what I needed! Thank you!
You are very welcome. I even have a pov test drive. It’s on my Channel :)
Very good review straight to the point
Looks good, I'll take it! 😌
Now I have to ask because this will affect if I buy this car or not dose it have the new genisis welcome chine
It has a bunch of dealer added options!
How does it drive? Most other reviewers at least drive the car!

would you recommend buying now? there's one for sale near me with 36k miles, for $30k. thoughts?
I doubt you could discount 6K
Does this car have 'idle stop', the engine turns off when you are stopped at a light for example. How to disable this feature? Thanks.
It can be disabled.
@@nastynati3501 Sure it can be disabled, for just *one* *drive* . But how to disable it permanently?

The 2021 base trim gets better gas mileage. And looks better in my opinion.
Looks just like my 2023 G70 2.0t
The prices on g70 is going to skyrocket over discontinuation, these sexy shits are going to keep their value real good if taken care of.
I disagree. They aren’t very rare. Cars just don’t sky rocket like this. They have to be special and well taken care of it to go up in value

41k for base?? My out the door on the ‘22 3.3 model for top trim (sport prestige) was $52k out the door! This is not worth 41k at all
