My XC bike is full sus and I garuntee u it weighs less (it’s a supercaliber 2021 and weighs 22.8 lbs). There are also a lot of very light full sus bikes that arent XC and most likely weigh less or the same

@@penisman4144 I have an old Norco dirt jumper. On some of the trails like the smooth ones it's ok. But as soon as you get anything that really rough it's extremely hard to ride hardtail. Your feet get kicked off the pedals and your back hurts afterwards. That's why I want a new full sus

Back when I had my BMX I used it for tricks, commuting to school 7km a day and for riding downhill. My wrists got a little fucked up over time and made some cracking noises but I did it all with a small BMX bike. If you got any kind of MTB you can probably ride any kind of MTB terrain with it, if I did this shit with my BMX.

Are you delusional? A hardtail is so bad if you try to be good at mtb or especially dh which mtb basically relies on. You can’t do a proper jump or drop with a hardtail. I have a full suspension bike and I knows what it feels like to ride a hardtail. Not so good. Sure, if you ride at a very basic level it could work and if you use it for road biking it will work fine. But a hardtail isn’t very good at mtb dh and such
Full suspension is overrated. Your hardtail is much easy to maintain and gives you a good starting ground for training yourself.

@@ericfrancoschopmans2015 and because of this, riding a HT forces you to choose better lines and have better form on your bike since your legs act as the rear shock.
I have a FS and a HT, and both are great. The HT is a bit more fun and keeps you honest, and the FS is more forgiving and let's me ride longer
For everyone saying hardtail is better or full suspension is better just remember they are not meant for the same use

Yep because bunnyhops are the onlything you can do on a mountain bike. The commencal is built for downhill. You try that to a cross country bike, "bang" is the first thing youll hear.

Hardtails are more fun to ride on tbh, they're raw and playful and I love it. However, I'm sure anyone would kill for a full suspension after a few years of riding on rigid trails with a hardtail.

Well I would say ripping down a mountain with a hardtail feeling all those bumps up your ass through that performance rock solid saddle and maintaining traction on your own throughout it is more fun than a rear sus absorbing all those and maintaining traction for you. Full sus is awesome but a good hardtail is just as fun and awesome
