Good point about going for crosscourt drop shots. Due to the longer distance takes some time to get the feel. I do like the fact that even if the drop shot has excessive pace it ends up with the opponent being pushed more off the court. Alcaraz has motivated me to practice this shot more. In a match, I love following up a few down the line drop shots with a fake drop shot down the line where I hit a slice deeper with pace down the line. So satisfying seeing the opponent commit to running forward and then getting the easy point.
