WELL THEN. Clearly my research was flawed. Son of a b. My apologies. I guess you could theoretically go with an F mount lens adapted. A lot of f mount lenses have great stabilization with the best being the lenses that have the gold ring and gold "N" designation. I know it might not work for you because it would add some extra weight, but from my experience, the 16-80mm f2.8-4E (480grams lens + 125grams FTZ2) lens has the most outrageous stabilization out of any nikon lens I've used (I also confirmed on nikon's website that VR does carry over to Z bodies from adapted lenses). Optically, the lens is fantastic as well. You can get them on the used market for around $500-$700 too. There may be other options available that are lighter too.

@@skyrunr I do have my bmpcc4k with metabones 0.66x (I think? ) speed booster that I haven’t tried yet. Gets bmpcc4k close to full frame, but I have had a chance to test it yet
Quick question, what color Are Nikon sheets? And where can I find them. 😊
Still waiting on the Firmware Updates that adds UFO Autofocus, Third Dimensional Being Eye/Face Detection, and Non-Blurry Bigfoot User 1 Setting.
But for real, the Z30 is a superb camera for the price.
I love my Nikon Z6 I brought for 1000$ CAD
Kasey had my legs broken.
I disagreed with something so he sent the chaps round my place. Now i'm the one running in slow motion.
d'ya know when I used to be a Nikon fanboy? In early 2016 when they promised a 16-50 compact camera with 1" sensor.
And they never delivered.
I have the Z50 and the kit lenses are great. Yes 8 bit is a pain - have to trust that the picture/vid you take is good enough in camera. Dark/washed out? No problem! It adds to the mystique. Who cares about perfection anyway? Have you used any creative filters yet? That can be fun.
Not many lens options if you're in this system." 4:13 - Hey, new Nikon fanboy. Sigma now makes their aps-c trio for Nikon's Z mount. Viltrox also makes some of their popular lenses for Z.
8:20 that auto-ISO thing in A mode... is this only for video, or also in photography? That would be soooooo wrong 🤯
Off-topic if you liked bm-og so much why not to buy 6k full frame (considering to buy it now) for woods-movies you could go away without ibis and af 🎉
What are your thoughts on the the black magic camera app, if any?
I love an underdog so i chose Nikon. Only been in the game for 5 years so no legacy loyalty. Tried Sony, Fuji, Canon and i kept coming back to Nikon.
Z5 suited my use case but the AF was awful. Zf was announced and i went for it. Im finally happy.
Like you say, spec sheets arent always in their favour, but their cameras are a joy to use, and the glass is great.
Please check out the 28mm and 40mm cheapy plastic lenses! Low element count, youll love them.
And theres a guy called Alik Griffin who reviews a lot of Nikon stuff. Youll like him. He likes 3D pop.
Wow you read my mind. Amazing channel
We can only hope for an OM-5 and sigma fp cinema.
What's the best Nikon camera that works with a Nikor f/1.8 lens compatible with a Nikon D3100. I don't want to buy new batteries for the D3100, if there's something much better but compatible with my lens I'd rather get newer
I'm shopping for a camera for my daughter, and theres a lot about the Z30 to like, as well as some other Nikon cameras... just cant get along with NO viewfinder at all. Theres a few things that make it a no-go for me, and keeps me from co sidering other Nikon offerings, even though I am more a fan of Nikon than Canon or Sony.
Lens options is one thing, Nikon just needs to let Sigma make lenses for their stuff.... i really like the looks and price of a few of the Sigma co temporary lenses , and I think im going to skip any system that doesn't have those as options.
10'18/2.8, 56mm prime, both for a great price.
I knew we Nikon photogs would prevail
Imagine having a squirrel in the background and moving the camera away...
squirrel is just in it for the exposure but refuses to pay up
If I was to start a Children’s Channel with my Daughter(already did), what would you suggest as basic gear(already have a7c with a 16-35 t2.8and DJI pocket 2)Please point me in the right direction if I’m not in one already, but be mindful that your opinion doesn’t really matter (yes it does)
If you have the chance, shoot me a special instead, tell me also the best transitions, sound fx, overlays and the creeping VFX that you mastered over the years, be mindful my audience will be the future of our planet so take that mission seriously (or go back to your bad and cry until the guilt consumes you for missing the chance to save this dying world)
I meant Bed(don’t pretend that you don’t know it)
You gotta get some Nikon flavored pants.
I think the Nikon Z6 represents the best value full frame camera on the used market and would love if you could buy one and confirm that. It was hated so much for not having two card slots so it sometimes sells for less than the Z5 used.
I have owned it twice ; it’s not bad camera ; great images but it’s outdated .
@@socialbender do you have the 50mm 1.8s? I think that’s the first lens I’d get if I ever pulled the trigger on a Z6. Is it worth the hype in your opinion?
@@danieltilley all the s lenses are great
nahhh best value full frame is Panasoni S5...bundle with 2 lenses and a battery are at the price of a Zfc...
I got the z5 over the z6 because apparently the autofocus system is more modern and closer to z6ii
Hey man, did you notice squirrel 0:15?
For vlog, if you use a gimbal, the 13mm Viltrox or the 16mm Sigma are the best around for the Nikon Z mount APSC
Yea that's why you buy a super light camera, to use it with a gimbal. If there was a punch button... :)
@@cameraconspiracies 😅
I have one. I love it.
The stab is really nauseating. Just grab g9 ii and you're done with live. Panny love
I'll shoot Nikon any day over Canon. But providence led me to Olympus and Blackmagic. I used to have a great collection of Nikon F gear, but I could see the end of film so I sold everything in the mid 2000s.
Do these cameras have stabilization? If so turn it on.
They don't. The Z30, z50 or zfc all do not have IBIS.
It was on. The lenses are too tiny for it to make a huge difference, but you'll notice it shooting stills 1/30th handheld indoors. ;)
@@skyrunr the cameras do not have stabe, only some lenses do, VR for Nikon.
@@artphototech VR on the lens plus digital stabilization, to be more clear. The physics of larger spinning magnets in larger lenses with vr probably makes them more effective.
What microphone is that you carry on your chest?
No IBIS = not interesting at all. Every camera since 2006 should have IBIS as a standard. There is no excuse.
Like the mount, Nikon focus rings turn in the opposite direction of other lenses. Worse, some 3rd party lenses with multiple mounts don't conform to Nikon's convention.
This looks so much better than the z30 for me. Don't know why...
"I'm that guy" 🥰
disable e-stab and never touch it again. nikon video rule #14
whats about overheating?
@twistingstrings ex Z30 user here, it does get kinda hot even in photo mode but no overheating.
should i just get the z 50 its cheaper
The time is Ni
Buy the pocket 3!!😊
From 5:30-5:37 you can see what it looks like when the auto iso decided to work
This looks good
I only use AF-F auto-focus full time for video
Test the 24 1.7 please
Z30 better than Micro 43? =)
The perfect camera is the one I own - Nikon Z9
How many people talking about Nikon - YOU only you - DJI Pocket 3 - is #1
You need an S series Nikon lens like the 14-30mm. The S series lenses have significantly superior stabilization.
But the 14-30 ain‘t stabilized
What is he even talking about? No stabe on any wide Z lens.
Full disclosure, Kasey can't read restaurant menus either.
I don't ask for much, in slo-mo terms, but the lack of even 4K60 is just too much to accept.
oh, i forgot to ask. Does nikon have the cinema?
out of hybrids, **only** Canon has the real cinema. Nikon only has fake cinema because it is a photo-camera made by photographers.
Counter was stuck on 666 likes, I fixed that for you. 😉
That stabilisation kills it dead. Looks like you’re in an earthquake zone. Best channel on the tube though 👍
Yeah I had serious issues watching this because of the constant jerky ibis, lol
This was bad settings, sports mode plus digital.
Digital stabe is good for static handheld shots without a tripod. Sports mode is good for panning. Normal mode is best for general video.
I only want videos about the gh7.
You should add gimbal.. too shaky 😏
