- The drivers say they are not getting any love from the rideshare platforms, so they're starting a 24-hour strike and taking the holiday off in protest. CBS New York's Christine Sloan reports.
Drivers don't give in. Don't drive all day today
Absolutely unacceptable that these ride share companies are taking advantage of their drivers by raising their commission rates. They are profiting from every single ride day after day and don’t own any vehicles or permits. And they are taken over 70% of the profits fairs is insane.
Uber ripping off drivers and riders big time
UNIONS and group responses is the only way to beat greedy capitalists that are killing this country. You go! You have the people's support.

Bravo, one of the few news reports that interview drivers
Not fair what these companies are doing to hard working drivers.
You get what you votte for

drivers need to strike more this year and they have to be in multiple places at once like this one. it may not affect the companies but it will bring a lot of unwanted attention to these companies.
the news outlets should also show pics of the thousands of offers that are shown to drivers every single day. that will show that these companies are always lying to their drivers about how they are paid. e.g. $8 for a 20 miles trip. how does that make sense? according to them, higher mileage should equal higher pay and yet here we are.
