@@LVMonocraftsDesign Thank you for this video. I have a petite noé previously dyed black but not done well. Im going to do it again following your steps. Would you recommend deglazing it to help new dye penetrate better?
The “value” might go down a little if your intentions are to resell. I have seen many dyed/painted or repurposed LV’s on the preloved market that sell for nearly the same price range. Some people look for a repurposed bag or plan in keeping bag so they repurpose for their own use. If a bag has tears in canvas Louis vuitton will reject them as repairs so might as well bring new life to your bag. It just really depends. If the vachetta is super worn.. you may get better luck selling with a dyed bag. I don’t buy intending to resell. I have dyed a couple of my older bags for fun.
Great video! I recently did this to my speedy bag and have sticky handles now. It's been a few days of drying and it won't go away. Do you have any suggestions on removing the stickness?
I’m not sure what happened there, but once you apply finisher (on top of fully dried paint), it should be dry in minutes. Which paint did you use by the way?
@@LVMonocraftsDesign I used angleus paint and finisher. I did let the paint dry for 24hrs but felt a bit sticky and proceeded to apply the finisher so maybe that's where I went wrong. Maybe I needed more time for the paint to dry
As I see it, you probably applied the paint a little too thick. I do 3 coats very thinly each time…. Just let it dry off for while now and buff with wool to smooth it out once dried. ☺️
i have both real bags and H Q D U P S high quality fakes and not gona lie... you cannot tell the difference. i think even rich ladies are just sick of these chanel prices.

Amazing artistry
Beautiful 😍👛
For the crack on the pull tab what did you use? I have a crack on alma handle and desperately looking on how to repair it.
Why did you use as second coat the leather paint and not leather dye again?
Do you also deglazed the leather when using acrylic paint? Thank you.
If the leather is previously finished, then you have to remove/ deglaze that coating so that the new paint will stick properly. Thanks for watching! 🤗
Please, sendo me the name of products you use for all restore.
Thanks.
The products are shown on each steps, along with photos. Let us know if you need anything else.
Is acetone the same as deglazer? Thanks
Yes, it can be. Although with acetone, it will not completely remove previous paint. Better use deglazer on a safe side.
What kind of tape are you using?
Painter’s tape.
💜💜💜
doesn't the value of the purse gone after painting it? it turned out pretty but if you wanna sell it the value of it is gone
Yeah it could be the case. ☺️
