How do you forget a baby in a car for 8 hours ?? That's so irresponsible. God imagine his last moments would have been so excruciating waiting for her.
@@aditi946 Actually there are plenty of similar cases like this. It's called 'Forgotten Baby Syndrome'. The parent was supposed to drop off their baby to their childcare center before going to work, but often times forgot cos they thought they have dropped them off (this is because driving to work is a task we do without thinking, which is called motor memory). Scientific researched explained that, Forgotten Baby Syndrome often occurs when parents focus on future tasks instead of the moment. This mindset can be extremely dangerous for a quiet or sleeping baby. It occurs most often when a parent has a change in routine or is absent-mindedly multitasking while the child is in the car. I also think because it’s common to not get much sleep and still function normally. freak accident like this happen because there’s always a chance.
I had my 2 kids back to back. When they were babies I had to work at night and watch them during the day to save money. It was really hard to go shopping with them half asleep so I would tie a long ribbon from my hand to one of their feet to make sure when I got off the car the ribbon would remind me they we're in the backseat. I don't know how I did it but I had to and I get really sad when I remember my struggles with them. I just thank God I never forgot to tie us together with that ribbon.

Just made me research this. Found out it takes at most 10mins for children to die in a car during a hot day. They pass out and start shutting down slowly cause of the heat stroke 💔
When I worked in the nursery at a daycare there was a mom with seven kids, three of which were young enough to attend our daycare. One was 2, and then there were her twin infants under my care. Everyday she would bring in the two year old first, say “I’ll be right back with the twins” and then do just that. One day she went through that whole routine except she never brought the twins in. As soon as I saw her drive away I called her to ask if she still had the babies in her car knowing that a stressed sleep deprived parent could easily forget about sleeping babies in the car thinking they dropped them off. That’s exactly what had happened. She turned around and dropped them off. She’s not the only parent I have made that call for. Unfortunately this could happen to anyone. I really hope this father is doing okay. Please check your backseat every time you get in or out of your car so it’s a habit. These are accidents but they can usually be prevented. You got this ❤️

Man, my father once left me in the car alone when I was 4/5 years old. We were going to his friend's wedding ceremony and he was too excited to see his friends that he left me in the backseat alone for quite some time. I don't remember what I was doing in the backseat, whether I am asleep or not but my father only realised that he left me when another one of his friend told him that I was crying in the backseat of the car. Tho I can't remember the event, it left me with a trauma of being in a quiet enclosed space. Like, even if i am in a big room, i will have panic attack if the fan or aircond is not on.
I forgot one of my twins in the car for about 30 seconds...my car (KIA TELLURIDE) is equipped to sound the alarm if movement is sensed in the car after it's locked, and that alarm is what reminded me. I was so preoccupied with my other 3 kids that it slipped my mind that quick! I cried for hours, I felt soooo bad. I truly empathize with these parents. It's heartbreaking
I didn’t know that those cars had that feature
It is an amazing car feature, would definitely helps many people 🔥
Mine does as well. This man lost his life that day as well
There's no excuse for that. "Preoccupied" is NOT an excuse. Parents shouldn't even need an alarm. If your life is that busy that you actually forget one of your kids in a car then it's time to reevaluate your everyday life. Your lucky that alarm worked.
You just sound like a person that doesn’t care enough.
I remember reading/watching a video about this called I believe “autopilot” it’s basically when you do your normal routine but when you add one thing to it it can change your routine drastically 😕
He probably wasn’t used to taking the babies to daycare. Babies fall asleep when the car is on the road and that’s the reason why he could have forgotten.
I have this autopilot thing. It sucks.
I do autopilot a lot.
@@yesibot.2051 if my husband takes our baby to daycare I always have him call me to confirm. I also call the daycare 😣 call me paranoid but he’s not used to doing it. I put my purse in my backseat by the car seat and always double check.
Yeah because forgetting a kid is easy lol do you have kids? It’s not easy to forget them idc about anything else. I work full time and have 5 children. Very strict routine during the work week. This is total carelessness
My biggest fear. That poor father & mother. Having kids is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, I forget everything
This is so sad. Typically I would say I cant see how this could happen but he visited the daycare. He probably thought he dropped all 3 off. I’m so sorry for those babies and this family.
Our school principal told us that story a few days ago and said "then you ask why we call your parents every time you don't come to school". He said it was the day care's fault for not calling the parents.
What? That’s ridiculous. It’s not the daycare’s fault, who have 20+ kids under their care. They could have called, but the dad was the one who forget them in the car. It’s his fault, even if it was an accident.
@@mags2847you have absolutely no sympathy. yea, it isn’t the daycare’s fault, but how could u say that to the dad?
@@hxxniibecause it's the dads fault

@@hxxnii it just doesn't make sense
"It was just a freak accident" some of y'all will not listen to that and blame the father...
EXACTLY
I mean bro even though it was an accident it was still his fault.
Wtf? He forgot his children in a car, he’s a murderer, that’s just fact.
He could've looked to make sure just saying
@@katem331 he indirectly killed them sk hes not a murderer just a negligent father his charge would be manslaughter not murderer tho
May those two Rest In Peace 😢 Fly High😢 I Hope that the dad is doing better 😢
Theese poor parents will never recover from this this poor dad will suffer and be haunted by this for the rest of his life this is so terrible bless all their souls
Imagine the distraught he would feel after realizing he’s killed his children oh my god
Imagine the mother too, she lost her babies and her husband all at once. This is so sad.
I wouldn't have made it home. I would have driven of s bridge.
@@marybeasley3232 Same, the guilt of it would be to big to Carry

My son's daycare they have a cut-off drop off, which is at 9:00 am. If your kid has not been dropped off by then and you did not let them know that your kid is staying home, they will actually call you. This is a good system to have to avoid this kind of accident ❤ especially when the routine changes sometimes.
Poor kids and guy he blames himself so much even though it was his fault he has a burden on his shoulders
I can not even imagine how him and his family must feel. That has got to be so traumatic and I feel so so sorry for their family. May Phoenix and Luna Rest In Peace.🕊❤️

🕊❤️
I can’t imagine how hard it’d be for him to explain to his other kid that it’s siblings died because he left them in a car by accident
I'm so sorry for that family lost 💔 its so hard to let go of your lost
I don’t think for one second that I would forget my child but I still have an alert on my phone that notifies me when I park to “get the baby”. You just never know and I am so heartbroken for these parents 😞
I bet everyday he wakes up wondering if it was all a nightmare. Juan I’m so sorry for your pain brother. Hang in there.
How can you forget your kids????!!!! Nope 👎

The thought of them crying for hours breaks my ❤️
They most likely passed in their sleep. Sadly it happens too much where sleeping babies are forgotten. That’s why cars added the “check your back seat” feature.

They're either going to get stronger after this (trauma bond is a real thing) or they're never going to get through this and a divorce is brewing😢.
This is heartbreaking.
The fact he had no intentions to do that
I hope he is fine

the sympathy i feel for this man is unmatched, he has to live with the guilt of his mistakes and is probably reminded every day about it, i hope he is getting help or therapy, my prayers go out to him and his family.
lifetime guilt is worst then death. I am also has that guilt of killing family. I misunderstod and think that my father died because of me. For 6 years i cry almost everyday. PTSD 3 times a day. Recurring nighmare. Until I have the courage to tell my mother the truth. She then explain my misunderstanding. Only that I can sleep soundly to tiss day.
He deserves the guilt.
U don't live alone. U live in joint family and have ur wife stay at home to look after kids. Women should not outsource childcare to others.
Serves him right.
