They botched the launch and instead of fixing bugs, they fix anything that can cut down on sinking hours in to rebuild from game breaking bugs they failed to test. That's classic 'modern gaming'.
Besides the teleporting, there is something key here. The repeat commands also works with stuff like parking break (anything that gives you a green box for doing)

skipping when aircraft is on the airport does that, skipping once youre in air wont. the damage bug only happens when youre on ground and it actually do damage to your plane
Why is this an issue for some people? First ever flight sim game for me, brought the base game at £70 and i don't have 7hrs to sit and watch AP fly the plane for me, if i want to use a plugin or up the SimRate then i absolutely will. Some of us have stuff going on irl too 🤦🏼♂️

How the hell do you start a second company, I started one, got up to 269k credits, bought another plane, and no matter what I do the other type of flights stay grayed out and I cannot choose then
@@powerblazing3603 The correct answer is you need the money for the cheapest plane in that new company AND the money for the company itsself in your account, only THEN you get the option to buy it, a cessna is around 300k +10k for the company
you can only buy your first company until you have enough money for the company and the cheapest plane to go with it. Same thing with other companies. You can only start one once you have enough for both plane and company. You CANNOT transfer a plane from one company to another. So if you save up and buy a big jet for company A and you get bored and want to run missions on company B, you have to save up for another plane.
They either rushed launching this title or they're just buying into the EA corporate brain rot on maximizing playtime in the worst of ways. The fastforward bindings aren't even +/- like they were in 2020. Why wouldn't those bindings just carry over to a sequel title? The only explanation is either they were lazy/didn't care to check these bindings before launch, or they purposefully made the user have to manually set them so their flights would on average take longer/gain more play hours. This is just pinnacle frustrating, and this is also the end result of tolerating the early years of microtransactions, here's where it led. Games being published unfinished, and bug WORKAROUNDS being fixed without the bugs being fixed.
its not sped up.. its mode in the flight simulator in the controls mode idk what its named thats what makes it go faster the gameplay, really good for grinding..
same for me, I said to myself thanks to this trick, finally I will be able to get around the game bugs and finally have a positive economy and be able to enjoy the career mode, but no, the developers prefer to focus on removing functionality probably because they judge it unbalanced (we are talking about a single player mode anyway), rather than repairing the catastrophic state of the game, ms 2020 was already shaky when it was released but now we have reached a lunar level for a flight simulator, instrument that no longer works, penalty if you use the flaps, penalty for landing lights in broad daylight or when they are already on, penalty for flying over an airport at 15,000 feet, ATC asking a cesna 172 to climb to 15,000 or even 17,000 feet in cruise, ATC that does not work, the flight plan that is not synchronized with the avionics even by pressing the synchronization via the EFB, there is not enough fuel to do a mission even with the necessary quantity plus a safety margin, it's simple all the planes have bugs it's absurd, so there they killed the little fun I had, finished for me ms 2024 I don't have 35 hours a week to devote to the game to simply be able to buy myself a cesna, and have the intense gaming pleasure of adjusting the AP and simply waiting in my chair doing nothing and watching that the plane is heading to the right place for 7 hours without the possibility of saving the mission and exiting the game
Absolutely right. As solo-player it’s our choice to make. And @asobo and @msfs2024 should enable this again asap. I like to fly but not sit for hours for some carrier mode. This should be fun and if we want to play this with this bug, please let us do so. Otherwise I don’t see the purpose of the carrier mode in an (normal household, work/kids schedule) happening for me. Wish I had more time. So please fix this.
really, they patched this shit already. but cant fix other stupid fucking bugs, like half the runways in australia are missing and you spawn into a forest and get point deducted for wheel off of runway, crash, and exceed 250knotts in a cessna somehow... yeah i forgot about the twin jet turbines on the back of it. Fuck microsoft, im uninstalling the game till someone gets cheat engine or a trainer working.
I have this mission and every time I land and it taxi to the hold point. It crashes with something about you cannot complete this mission and it returns me to the menu. I have every fixed wing rating and all the requirements.. its broken 8(

Doesn't matter to me what people do with their own game. I just don't understand the point. If you want to rank up super fast, why not use free flight where you can use any aircraft. Me personally the career mode is to work towards something you earn. Each to your own. I have spent about 30 hours or so in the game, and almost unlocked all the endorsements. I want to see you do this with a helicopter lol.

I don`t have more than max 5h of gaming per week, the new kid and my job are more important than grinding for aircraft and licence costs. I want to log in, play a firefighting mission for ex and log out not much more. With 5h/week how long will it take me to get to play how I want? I see your point and i`m happy for the ones that want to immerse themselves in the career aspect, I on the other hand want to have instant access to the mission and aircraft I want to use, could not care less about "earning it" in the game.

My main issue is that they launched an unfinished title riddled w/ bugs, but instead of fixing the bugs, they just disabled debug in career mode so methods like these no longer work. That's just pure corporate brain rot. "Forget fixing the title, the shareholders want maximized playtime, so let's just leave it broken and take away the bug fixes so they have to grind more!" Yeah I don't care if they have a business degree, that's a critically low level of common sense seeing as most will just stop playing the game and give it a terrible review (which they have)

just fly your own plane, keep grinding till you unlock the charter service which will earn you more money and you can set you 172 in your cargo company to auto
I'm not convinced at all by this career mode. It's fun for sure, an it is still a pretty gaming experience, but I prefer using addons such as On Air Company or Air Hauler 2 even FSE.
They f*ckin patched it but still haven't patched the career mission bugs like rescue targets spawning in a forest of trees (impossible to land a heli there), incorrect altitudes being enforced on missions (30K feet right before descent, and then expecting a 2K altitude within minutes, on a MEDEVAC MISSION)
Patch nulled this. Typical, they won't fix the f*cking bugs that cause crippling money sinks in career mode, but will disable debug mode for career mode. That's just f*ckin typical for devs.
Jesus Christ read just ONE article about this game's launch before wondering why people are seeking to cheat. Most of us LOST a plane that costs 250K to repair thanks to crippling bugs that exist due to them failing to test this title before launching it. They rushed the title, launched it totally unfinished w/ a ton of bugs in career mode, and then the one thing they DID fix is the method to earn your money back faster. Corporate brain rot, all about maximizing play time, even though most will just quit if it remains this unplayable (Career mode).

This will 100% ruin your experience. It does it in any other game you speedrun, specially if you are teleporting when the idea is to enjoy the flight. You have the sim rate option. This makes no sense. I wouldn't recommend this sketchy method to anyone tbh.
you are talking like you would lose your account if microsoft finds out you save hours of your time by doing that, so cute. 99% of people take off, let the autopilot do its thing while they are doing something completely different, and then land manually...
@@powerblazing3603 SIM rate just speeds up the Auto Pilot though, unless you're flying the whole way of course, but even real pilots don't do that, hell the AP even lands for them irl 🤷🏼♂️
@@oliversnow agreed. Autoland (or its equivalent) is for CAT III runways for airliners due to poor visibility. For most aircraft and runways, autopilot is prohibited under a certain altitude and for good reason. Nobody has to use this method, but some people want to, for whatever reason they have. The so-called 'noble' way of doing things is kind of gatekeeping in a way. When I first got into flight simulator, it was FS98 and I was landing airliners at meigs field with no flaps. I had no idea what I was doing, but it got me into aviation, even though I was doing it totally incorrectly. It ignited the passion for aviation not only in simulation but in real life. So, trying to say that it will 100% 'ruin' your experience is a very biased statement. It might ruin your experience, but for others, it might open the door to more experiences. As far as the state of the sim, it's horrific. However, it will get there. Until then, all of us can and will play as we wish -- without unsolicited opinions and advice from people thinking that just because they own a simulator they have to fly the A+ FAA approved way. Have a Dr. Pepper and calm down.
Many people just need a way to make quick cash after a game glitch or a crash. There are many career ending bugs right now, like skipping taxi and having your plane put into the side of a building that randomly shows up on the runway for example. Others don't have the time to sit for hours on end while the autopilot flies the plane and get bored. Bottom line, everyone has a different idea of how they would like to enjoy the game they purchased with their money. I see no harm here, don't like it, then move along and play the way you want to.

If it ruins the experience for you it's fine, then don't do it. But if you think as soon as you are on cruise altitude that what you are doing is flying the plane yourself, i can't help you

You first need to buy a new company, THEN you buy the plane you want ON that company, not on the previous one.

@BahadurMasterofMist I have changed my thinking after doing a few 5 hour flights. We need to be able to jump ahead without losing cr and experience.
if you wait to teleport until after your initial climb out when it says alt-N for decent you can get full ratings

Why do people care if you cheat in singleplayer😂 imagine doing hours of a flight and it crashes. To play this legit you'd need to be unemployed and only playing this game when youre awake just to get anywhere
My main issue is that they launched an unfinished title riddled w/ bugs, but instead of fixing the bugs, they just disabled debug in career mode so methods like these no longer work. That's just pure corporate brain rot. "Forget fixing the title, the shareholders want maximized playtime, so let's just leave it broken and take away the bug fixes so they have to grind more!"
Yeah I don't care if they have a business degree, that's a critically low level of common sense seeing as most will just stop playing the game and give it a terrible review (which they have)

just fly your own plane, keep grinding till you unlock the charter service which will earn you more money and you can set you 172 in your cargo company to auto
I'm not convinced at all by this career mode. It's fun for sure, an it is still a pretty gaming experience, but I prefer using addons such as On Air Company or Air Hauler 2 even FSE.

They f*ckin patched it but still haven't patched the career mission bugs like rescue targets spawning in a forest of trees (impossible to land a heli there), incorrect altitudes being enforced on missions (30K feet right before descent, and then expecting a 2K altitude within minutes, on a MEDEVAC MISSION)

Patch nulled this. Typical, they won't fix the f*cking bugs that cause crippling money sinks in career mode, but will disable debug mode for career mode. That's just f*ckin typical for devs.

Jesus Christ read just ONE article about this game's launch before wondering why people are seeking to cheat. Most of us LOST a plane that costs 250K to repair thanks to crippling bugs that exist due to them failing to test this title before launching it. They rushed the title, launched it totally unfinished w/ a ton of bugs in career mode, and then the one thing they DID fix is the method to earn your money back faster. Corporate brain rot, all about maximizing play time, even though most will just quit if it remains this unplayable (Career mode).

Yeah i couldnt give a shit about career mode, i tried using cheat engine but it resets. Gunna do this tomorrow. im so sick of the shit bugs and bullshit points deduction for nothing. Ie doing over 250knotts in a fking cessna.... yeah right.

This will 100% ruin your experience. It does it in any other game you speedrun, specially if you are teleporting when the idea is to enjoy the flight. You have the sim rate option. This makes no sense. I wouldn't recommend this sketchy method to anyone tbh.

99% of people take off, let the autopilot do its thing while they are doing something completely different, and then land manually...
@@powerblazing3603 SIM rate just speeds up the Auto Pilot though, unless you're flying the whole way of course, but even real pilots don't do that, hell the AP even lands for them irl 🤷🏼♂️

@@oliversnow agreed. Autoland (or its equivalent) is for CAT III runways for airliners due to poor visibility. For most aircraft and runways, autopilot is prohibited under a certain altitude and for good reason. Nobody has to use this method, but some people want to, for whatever reason they have. The so-called 'noble' way of doing things is kind of gatekeeping in a way.
When I first got into flight simulator, it was FS98 and I was landing airliners at meigs field with no flaps. I had no idea what I was doing, but it got me into aviation, even though I was doing it totally incorrectly. It ignited the passion for aviation not only in simulation but in real life.
So, trying to say that it will 100% 'ruin' your experience is a very biased statement. It might ruin your experience, but for others, it might open the door to more experiences.
As far as the state of the sim, it's horrific. However, it will get there. Until then, all of us can and will play as we wish -- without unsolicited opinions and advice from people thinking that just because they own a simulator they have to fly the A+ FAA approved way. Have a Dr. Pepper and calm down.

Why do you care? It's a unique way of playing the game.
Many people just need a way to make quick cash after a game glitch or a crash. There are many career ending bugs right now, like skipping taxi and having your plane put into the side of a building that randomly shows up on the runway for example. Others don't have the time to sit for hours on end while the autopilot flies the plane and get bored. Bottom line, everyone has a different idea of how they would like to enjoy the game they purchased with their money. I see no harm here, don't like it, then move along and play the way you want to.

If it ruins the experience for you it's fine, then don't do it.
But if you think as soon as you are on cruise altitude that what you are doing is flying the plane yourself, i can't help you
