Young Kevin. Quite funny and classic at the same time. Good🙂👍. My love of aviation starts in 2016 and i was eventually becoming an avgeek 2 years later in 2018.
Ope! You don’t wanna spill your Rock & Rye from the QD on that shirt.
Born for this 🫶🏽🍻

I never thought I would be interested to know Kevins family name until I watched this.
Wow!!! Talk about a time capsule, little Kevin(blank) honing his skills to become the planespotter we know and love today.🤘🤙
Was, is, and always will be the best aviation host!
This has 1988 National Aerobic Championship vibes.
young kevin in 90s
So fun to see! First airport I ever flew out of, back in the late 1980's! Also fun to see how long your passion for plane spotting has been going on.
The music really ties all of this together.
Lifelone planespotter
Young Kevin from back then to now, you have definitely grown into the spotlight. Where it all started
Awesome video, Kevin. It certainly paved the way for what was to come. Your hard work and dedication have paid off. God bless you and much more success with AVL.
Love it "breaking glass" at an early age. But look at you now!! Keep up the good work, Kevin!
Classic 😂
Seeing this footage just serves as evidence as to why the quality you provide on now is so good! It’s been years in the making. Awesome historical footage. ❤ it!!
Great to see Young Kevin, the budding Plane Spotter 😃👍
They say that doing what is of the most interest really isn't work. Its amazing that aviation and videography has always been an important part of your life! You have most definitely found your calling! Super cool!
I love this !
From Michigan! Amazing to watch this.
That was when we "had" a fair amount of plane traffic. A shadow of its former self now. Great job Little Kevin. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Fantastic Kevin you had the great reporting on aviation at that young age. You can tell even then that you really enjoy what your doing.👌😊

Great job, Kevin! This truly was your calling, and you've made AVL into the amazing stream that we know and love ~ You and Rudy, Night Hawk, Bob and Ed have the best LAX stream ever! Now, about this "Kevin's Hideaway".... ??? Keep up the amazing work!
👏👏👏
You look at least three weeks younger.
I had to laugh at the end when you told him to film plane and not you. Thanks for sharing Kevin 🛫
Not quite the smooth and polished plane spotter we've all come to know and love, but a cool video nonetheless.😎
Wonderful!!!
🔥🔥👍
This is so cool :D
Where's Rudy??

US Air DC 9 vista jet 👍
How very endearing! Thank you so much for sharing this touching insight into your childhood (lifetime) passion. We are so lucky to have you Kevin!
Where's Rudy?
You already had that confidence that most Americans are born with
that we Europeans don't have naturally. So once a reporter always a reporter?
My Dad was born and raised in Lansing and worked as an Airplane Mechanic at Lansing Airport when he was in his teens in the late 1930's. Memories of his love for airplanes and our multiple airplane-themed vacations in my childhood have been renewed since I started watching AVL live streams. Keep 'em coming!!
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing this gem with all of us! We all appreciate your hard work Kevin! Cheers to AVL!
