DO NOT MELD lv 30 familiar (common and magclic quality)as you will waste a familiar for just a few extra attributes and 1 rare skill. Instead, use familiar conversion on your odinary familiars to gain 3 new skill and also a chance of having an aberrant quality.
If you are lucky, there's is a 10% chance you can get utility traits (the pirple traits that you see in the video). These purple trait allow your pet to salvage and identity items as you cna see in the video.

Yeah, Melding only give you a chance to get better skills on your pet and also +1 attibutes but you will waste 1 familir for it. Not worth compare to conversion

Should we even spend the time using the spirit essence to rank up the gray ones or normal ones rather? Or, is that simply a waste of time?

If you are F2P I recommend saving up spirit essences first. You need up to 58 essences to max out a familiar. Once you get a few magic (blue quality) familiar then you can start leveling them up to lv. 30. That's what I plan to do.

Hi, I'm in SEA server and there is a bundle that cost 15 usd. You get 4 familiar contracts along with 200 essence and 6 legendary crests. I also was farming at the new maps.Killing elite monsters also drops familiar contracts. I think I got around 7 contracts from farming yesterday.

Hi bro! the whole system is RNG base bro but you need to follow this:
Convert 3 fammiliar to get 1 aberant familiar (30% chance)
Convert 3 aberant familiar for a chance to get legendary familiar (very low chance - can use conversion stones to help with skills and prevent rarity drop)
