I knew every single one and it's somehow weird to me how pro players don't recognize them. Or maybe it's more difficult because they don't have headphones idk
Depends on sound settings. For example I didnt even know Thresh ult had a sound bcs my sounds are low ans whenever thresh ults it's usually mixed in with other sounds so I don't hear it
They probably have different sound settings so that is why.
Actually I think it's also a gene think how good u are at remembering sounds. Everyone has this one friend, that knows literally every song text.
A big factor is also when the sounds are played. Sounds of something like Swain W or Nidalee W are generally easier to learn because they also happen outside of combat/when there is little action, while Thresh ult for example is going to be used more when other things are happening that distract from the sound.

all of them were instant for me to know since i always play with sound on and listen for key cds to play around in fights, that and aatrox r and teemo shroom detonations causing lots of ptsd over the years since i know some moron is gonna run into more shrooms or run DIRECTLY at aatrox instead of kiting him out and feeding him more r triggers, also helps ive been playing off and on since alpha, the sound byte recognition becomes second nature at that point
