Liz: when I collage, I do my backgrounds all different ways. It just depends on what I’m gluing and my moods. Maybe that’s half the fun of it.
When I’m gluing, I have different cut pieces of wax paper I use to go over my freshly glued pieces. This protects them, because sometimes when you just use a credit card or frosting scraper it takes the color from the magazine pages. I learned the hard way. Also, larger pieces of wax paper put between the pages protects them from sticking to each other. Just a couple of tips. You do look like you are enjoying yourself. Carol from California, USA

I Usually do a background with decorative paper.... Really like the food pages. Probably b/c i'm "cutting back" on eating. Well at least eating sweets. My weakness! haha!....Very Enjoyable Liz! 🙋💜🐦

Love that! I also love sweets, I enjoy soft gummy sweets more than chocolate lately, but consistently think that I should cut down on, but i dont! Thanks Val for your support and suggestion 🌸🌺🍎✂️

Hi, Liz I don't really have any rules on my backgrounds. If the background is attractive I like it showing through, but if the images I've chosen cover it up that is fine too. I think your neutral strips showing through here and there are quite attractive and help unify your book. Nancy
