- How to install and configure Windows Terminal application for Windows 10.
NOTE: Looks like an update to Windows Terminal has made some of my how-to obsolete. New features under Setting to adjust options in the JSON file, without having to edit it. Default console, icon, and a lot more. Check it out.

So awesome!! Yes things were a little different than explained due to updates, but I was able to noddle it through and add Ubuntu profile with custom icon and a hilarious title! 🤓 LOVING IT!
Thanks. Yes making video tutorials is tough because programs change so frequently. How it works one day can be entirely different next month. But good to know the bulk of it is still relevant. Thanks again for the feedback.
Nice job. You kept it simple but very clear. Thanks!
Thank you.

Excellent tutorial. Highly appreciated!
Thanks, and glad you found it helpful.
hello sir
its does not work for me as is does for you, so when i enter the settings ,instead of giving me a note pad ,it enters the Visual studio and thank you very much
Setting are JSON format that open in whatever editor you have associated with the format. Visual Studio associates the extension when installed. Many of the settings I show in the video no longer require editing the JSON file. The app now has a more thorough settings window itself.
@@wc7 ok Thank you very much
how do i make default browser for linux terminal only
bro yout content clear an consize so is this the same way to setup for wsl
WSL is another subject. Search and you'll find plenty. But if you have WSL installed, yes Windows Terminal can be used the same Command Prompt or PowerShell are used to ssh to WSL virtual machines.
simplebut very clear
Buen trabajo amigo. Gracias
Thank you.
how to customize commandline?
[error 0x80070002 when launching `192.168.0.1']
You need to be more specific. Customize Windows Terminal? Or customize a Linux prompt? Or...? Try Google "customize command line". I got many results.
@@khodooginstitute4774 Error relates to Windows update I believe. Nothing to do with Windows Terminal.
thanks bro , subscribed to you
Great! Thank you for your interest and support.
What I'm not loving are the Windows 10 style settings menus where can't bloody find anything - why not put a search bar at the top of settings. As usual MS years behind and yet we've all waited. Urgh.
Tell the developers. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues
Is it needs to SSH tunnel process Mr..?
I don't know.

Great! Thank you.
I don't have any linux server on my localhost what should i do in commandline and how to make it😢

What should i have to write command line 7:05
"You can add..." means the change is optional. If you don't have other servers to access, there is nothing to do. Skip those steps. Watch the entire video and listen to the instructions carefully. Anytime I say "You can" means it is optional, not required.
Also note pinned comment regarding changes to Terminal that make editing the JSON file no longer necessary. Most simple changes can be done directly in the program settings. I have added the same note to the video description as well.
Command line ??
