@@timoates9592 and @Andi Rea....I really want to watch the whole series, especially after watching the finale of season 8 because Megan Boone was so expressive/ compassionate/fierce/compelling/moving in all 8 seasons. (Spader, of course, is awesome). I'm so heartbroken about Liz that I want to see her story again. There's a lot that I can't remember from the early seasons.
I loved it as much as I did the first time, with one small exception. I decided I did not like season 6 as much, because they got too political. I am a conservative, and usually when Hollywood in general expresses political opinion, it is not very kind to conservatives. Still, it doesn't make me "throw out the baby with the bathwater", and I am sure if you're not conservative, you might even like season 6 better. But, I always have been fascinated by the overarching story.
Um yes she is. She has been nominated for multiple awards. You clearly haven’t seen the Blacklist. Regardless, she may not be a good actress in your opinion, but she is in mine.
And about 20 episodes later, she leaves the show. Understandable that she wants to move on and do something else than play "Lizzie" for the rest of her life, though.
Blacklist is in my opinion successful thanks to megan boone james spader has of course success but megan boone adds movement to the series with her experience

I would love to have been a fly on the wall in the writer's room after the Season 8 announcement when they were already planning THE finale for the whole show in S7. Maybe, in a way, the premature shutting down of S7 and having to push intended storylines forward into s8 helped them creatively to have a little breathing space, who knows? I wonder who will be the final Blacklister?
Without a doubt the weak link of the show. Poorly written character but also poor performance. No depth to it. One-size-fits-all expression. Thank goodness for James Spader.

Writers dont do a great job with Liz Keen however! She irritates me!! I know its not Megan, but hell, she is a terribly flip flop, whiney, disloyal, unthankful, entitled brat. Who would like that as a lead character. Red and Aram rock!
If it wasn’t for James Spader no one would ever watch the black list. Liz Keen only did one thing…..drive viewers away as fast as she could. Now that her character is finally dead, I’m sure the viewers will shoot through the roof.
Who’s watching the whole series now 🤚🏻?
But after the finale of 8, I don't know anymore. Especially with both Boone and Bogenkamp leaving, I just don't know.

Nice girl. Overuse of " incredible " aside, her role as Elizabeth was hampered by the weak writing and character development of the producer.
