I understand Absalom's pain, with context, his father David didn't do anything to punish or discipline his son for r*ping his half-sister, so Absalom's anger turned into revenge against his half-brother and the father that did NOTHING to deal with the problem of r*pe in the family.
Hello all of my fellow Christians, it's so good to be with you again. As always I am excited to bring you another great story from the bible, this time I am bringing you one of my favorite Kings, from the Old Testament. In this video, Absalom; one of the David's son rebels against his father to become King.
Thank you for your lecture. Absalom was proud of his hair and he was a deceiver. Trying to get the kingdom by force and lies. And he couldn't be the King because his mother was a philistine. Just like Samson with his long hair. Absalom dies by his hair. Thank you Jesus Christ for your sacrifice for our redemption and salvation and miracles and WORDS SHALOM AMEN 💖
Loved this video. Thank you very much. My only suggestion is to narrate it a bit slower because we had to stop it many times to understand all the details.
Ooh, greetings in the name of Jesus the all mighty who unites us in union with christ sadness to king David but it was Gods plan and the lesson is to council problems with children
He (Jesus ) said to them , ''Moses ,because of the hardness of your hearts ,permitted you to divorce your wives ,but from the beginning it was not so ,Matthew 19 :8 hence you invite problems after problems into your already problem --filled life when you have many wives . Getting married --once is enough and one wife in one's life is more than you can handle.........
Absalom didn't do anything wrong other than riding a horse into branches while sporting a jewfro. I've always liked Absalom and as to how he avenged his sister.
It wasn't detailed in the video, but he received false divination that he was to become king and laid with his father's concubine. He took revenge instead of pursuing law to later say he was capable of being just. He was a fool.
@@sadistyk_1671 Not only a fool. Evil! Proud, beautiful, deceitful. And rebelled against his father. Does that remind you of anyone?! The Bibel has storys of People who showed great qualities. But the Bibel tells us nothing about what they looked like. But they were people worthy of imitation. Absalom shared the same mentality as God's foremost enemy. A warning example.
@ellie I was not trying to look smart, but I admit that my languages skills is not top notch! You don't have to be smart to see the Similarities in the actions of Satan and Absalom. A child can see that (Genesis 3:1-5 compare 2 Samuel 15:1-6) Absalom who probably were smart couldn't see that, he was so blinded by his arrogance. It takes smart and well educated people to write books that only smart and well educated people can understand. But it takes a God to write a book that only humble people can understand. Joseph, who only had a few scriptures to base his faith on, understood that it would displease God to have sex with Potiphar's wife. The Law was not written! Joseph probably contemplated Bible storys that existed back then and based his conduct opon them. But Absalom did not compare his own actions with the Law or Bible Storys that existed when he lived. The reason why the Hebrew and Aramaic texts are preserved is found in Romans 15:4. The reason is so we, that live now, can compare our own conduct, moral standards to the Storys and behavior of the Past. The reason for my comment was that I was surprised by some immature interpretations here. Some seem to read the Bible as if it were a comic book. Some comments here I perceive as : My favorite in Batman is the Joker.
When did Absalom rebel against David? After forty years? And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron. ... But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron. 2 Samuel 15:7-10 Less than forty years since David only ruled for a total of forty years? David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 2 Samuel 5:4
Beauty is vain.... we need to pay attention. Do not allow your outward appearance to dictate how you treat people. David was wrong in not punishing his son for his hurtful deed towards towards his sister Tamar. Absalom took action, he was deceitful and died by the very thing he treasured... his hair.
2 Samuel 14v22 doesn't say that Absalom kiss his father. It doesn't say that. It's important to read the scriptures and not to add things which isn't there. God bless
This would be so much better if it was narrated by a real person not a droid!! God gave us voices to share his word. Having a mechanical, inhuman voice to tell God’s stories is soooo sad!
How many women he slept with from the exile to the reign of king. The scripture already caught he is the womaniser and thus his son Solomon too broke his father record
@@TemplarX2If that's all you see about Absalom then you must be blind or demon possessed. Absalom claimed to punish his sister's rape, but this is the same guy who forced himself on his own father's wives. Absalom not only rebelled against God's ordained King, David but also tried to have him killed. He deceived the whole of Israel for his own gain, thinking he would become King by force. He's essentially like the devil rebelling against God. If you can't see this then you are simply lost.
@@hillario7765 You are talking nonsense. Absalom is only vilified because he lost. Beside, David loved Absalom. He was great heroic prince and a beloved son. Had he won, David would have been the villain. The Bible is the work of men not God. God had nothing to do with all this. I personally like Absalom although I don't like the part of where he betrayed his father particularly. He loved his sister. Family is everything. God doesn't interfere in the affairs of men contrary to belief. It would be wrong to take side. Men are inspired by God and do a lot of great things as well as atrocities in His name. This doesn't mean God is directly involved.
@@TemplarX2 Like I said before, emotion and revenge is all you choose to see, all you want to see. You just cannot see it any other way. It must be stemming from some kind of personal experience or personal issue that you feel a need to project onto the characters of the story as to feel a sense of power or victory. Hope you find healing. To add, if the Bible be the work of men and not God then who is your god, the one you talk of and how do you relate with that god of yours? Imagination? Hope? Guesswork?

Great tie in there
So, Absalom got stick in a tree where soldiers threw spears at him until he died? I guess Absalom was the original pinata.
Yoooooo 🤣🤣
This is a great teaching tool
Awesome digital illustration

Did you know there’s an ability where you can slow or speed up the speed of the video? 😀

Did you read the full story?
So absalom sister is perona from one piece
When did Absalom rebel against David?
After forty years?
And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron. ... Less than forty years since David only ruled for a total of forty years?
David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 2 Samuel 5:4
All of this happened because David rebel against god, God bless ❤️

Can u explain in hindi??plz
I notice the good looking people in the Bible always die young. 😂 Jesus definitely the most beautiful ❤
What happened ro David is parallel to what happened with God & Lucifer in heaven. David must be very sad,

Consequences of having many wife, David is known for womaniser
Do you know the meaning of womanizer? It's having casual sex with different women. They were all his wives or concubines.
How many women he slept with from the exile to the reign of king. The scripture already caught he is the womaniser and thus his son Solomon too broke his father record
Right!
WELL, that was NOT fun.
Absolom sounds like Lucifer..
Absalom is worse than Cain
Worse? Abel was a pure innocent child of God. Absalom killed a rapist. Absalom was a hero. Love him.
Absalom is misunderstood 🤦🏽♂️
