I have only just become aware of this video and I want to thank Uncle Kage for his kind words, and for coming to New York to honor Tim, and all of you furries for your incredibly kind and heartfelt tributes to (and in so many cases, sweet memories of) Lemonade Coyote, my son Tim. Being a furry was such a joy to him and a huge part of his life. Keep finding the joy for yourselves, and every now and then, think of your fur-end LC with a smile. Tim's proud mom, Rosemary McCormick
Mrs. McCormick, this may be several years too late, but please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Tim. I was never fortunate to have known him personally, but from all I've heard others say it seems he was a truly amazing person loved by all who knew him. Whoever wears his fursuit, now with angel wings on the back, is serving a very touching tribute in keeping his memory alive.
Your son was a hero. And heroes never truly die they live on within us all. They impact the world in such a profound way that their impact is felt long after they are gone. To this day we are still seeing the amazing impact your son had on the world and the lives he touched. Your son lives on through stories, memories, and hearts of everyone they touched in the time they were here. Your son was so special to so many and has a legacy that will live on forever. I know heaven has a great new angel who is watching over us all. I bow to him and you. I hope one day I can make as big an impact on the world as your son did. Truly I look up to him for who he is and what he accomplished in his life.
I miss lemonade coyote to stryker husky and I said he was like friend to me and also a brother to and I will never forget him and lemonade coyote will always be right by our side 🙏😪😢😔
Uncle kage did this same thing this at confurgence and it's quite touching too. All I can say to the furry haters out there is fuck you. You just go to Indianapolis and bad mouth lemonade coyote and see if you make it out of town alive. RIP LC you can finally be at peace and wear your suit till the end of time
I'll wager anything you like that these haters would NOT have the farewell sendoff like LC did, God rest his soul. Even myself though I'm not a hater. I'm a fur suiter as well. RIP LC.
roadwolf2 LOL....What i meant was 'myself'' wouldn't get a send off like LC did. We sursuiters do this because it's fun to do, good social content, and most of all.....if it's possible to make someone's otherwise dull or bad day better, good for us and them.
I'm a relatively new furry (husky) and I do not live in the States or know LC personally, but it is indeed an honor to be part of the fandom that has such great admiration for this man. I was so deeply moved by his loss, and all I wanna do is give his dear friends and family one big enormous hug. All I can say is that Tim has inspired me, and I want to make people happy too :) May our furry brother live in our hearts and minds forever.
I know it’s been 7 years, and you probably don’t remember posting this, but hopefully you are doing well, and always remember that everything will get better soon. That is all, peace.
I remember being 11 at the time at IFC 2011 Lem (Tim) came up to me as I was crying and gave me an almost 40min. speech about how crying was good for you. what a guy
This is why I hate red light runners. (Even my parents when they do it.) I just find it very annoying when somebody runs a red light, that law should be enforced more. It's because of an impatient idiot who was gunning it on red that Mr. McCormick died. Another RUclipsr almost died for the exact same reason. That is why I'd honk or flip off red light runners whenever I see them and then tell them why I did it.
Ugh.... It just gets me so frustrated when I hear stories of car accidents.... People need to learn to be more patient. For crying out loud, this death could have been easily avoided!!! T.T At least he lived doing what he loved: helping others.
When you find hate comments, it's a bit weird because that person leaving the hate literally searched up something g they don't like just to be a dick. Lemonade Coyote was an outstanding person.
My view (as a fifty three year old Furry) is that perhaps we should look at the positive side of this and congratulate this person for keeping Tim's memory alive. To use the term often used here in the UK of those that have fought and died fir this or any other country "Lest we forget".
why should being a furry be restricted to the young, apparently there is a 75 year old furry somewhere. Also it doesn't seem to bother my friends in the fandom. and from what I've seen the age range varies widely anyways. but no offence taken Broh.
who says the fandom is pointed towards tanagers and young adults? A , and B young people can also be pervs. also what you have to consider is that Uncle Kage and Two aren't exactly young. and then one could argue "So we can't have older people in the fandom but it's OK to have Homosexuals and lesbians".
This just shows that even though we are furries, we are still people inside, we can do many things for people and show that we can still make a difference to everything we do no matter how much hate we get.
i live in indianapolis and i remember this day standing up and saluting him i was in jrotc at the time i wasnt a furry but now that i am and know he is to i have a whole new respect for him
I could possibly be the least religious person in existence, but I sincerely hope that there is a heaven for this hero, and everyone like him. They've all earned it.
I remember sitting in the audience for the first time seeing uncle kage when he told this story and it was completely overwhelming to see an entire audience stand up and applaud as he started talking about how LC gave his life. Nobody put it any better than uncle kage did and everybody who is so closed minded needs to see this for sure. LC should be a model for everybody.
what the hell do mean? if u mean my user name, loads people can have their fursonas name like mine and can i have same species. also im not stealing, its mostly how ur fursona looks, and my profile pic is not my fursona. if thats what u mean.
its not like im saying," oh, hey everybody look what i drew for my profile pic". also in planning to get a computer and drawing pad to draw my own charcter for my profile pic. also there are millions people out there who probably are doing the same thing like i am so why are only telling me? people dont have drawing talents you know, not to be offensive to anyone though.
Im a relatively new furry.. this is touching all my questions about the furry fandom... with all the flaws *coff* kero *coff* are just meaningless this is a truely amazinf fandom.... I hope Lemonade is having a good time up there didn't know you... still love you....
RIP Lemonade Coyote :( when I saw the older con vids, I wanna meet Lemonade Coyote, but when I heard he's dead on Furry Amino, I was sad and it was too late because I was an anti furry that time and I blamed myself how that I didn't join the fandom earlier and I was crying inside.
I just saw Uncle Kage for the first time at FC today and he did this at the end... One of the most inspiring and touching things I've ever seen, and *the* prime example of how the fandom does not deserve the hate thrown at it by the media.
this was a very emotional speech by Kage, and damn was I feeling the love and admiration. I swear, the way he spoke, it nearly drove me to tears, that I had to clap for him, even if this happened days ago and I'm watching it on youtube. The message was clear, it hit home, it was amazing. Wow, just, wow~!
I did not no lemonade coyote but I can say this lemonade coyote has in spired not just the new furry in the fandom but as well the people the new him the best he will truly be missed by his workers and his furry fans that try to be just as much lemonade coyote has in spired us to make a diff rents in some one life weather it inter tanning kids that are going thru the battle of cancer or just lending a hand to a person in need lemonade coyote is a grate role madly for us all he will be missed
I never knew Tim but he's inspired me to be brave and be proud of who I am. I wish I could have met you, Lemonade Coyote. Rest in peace, and thank you so much for everything you've done, for the fandom, for this country, and for me. You are truly an amazing person, and to Kage, I just can't say it any better than you did. RIP Lemonade Coyote, you will be missed
I saw something on Tim at the Boy Scouts of America 2013 National Jamboree. It really took all I could to not cry at the memorial. Something I could definitely tip my hat, and my ears to. I gave the memorial a silent Boy Scout salute, and quietly moved on. Of all the awesome things at the Jamboree, it was definitely the most prominent thing that I remembered.
This brought me tears to my eyes. I didn't really cry because I can't, my tear ducts are dry but you must think what I mean. That feeling of deep sadness... loneliness... speachless... If you read this, thank you for record and upload this... if Kage watch this and read this comment, I thank him for his words!
im a new furry and I have seen so many of hiss vids that when I heard of this it just made me cry I seen him in a lot of vids so I looked his name up and im like dam that's the guy vids I love to watch I will miss you even tho I never met you rest in peace bro you was carrying person bro
i heard this story at megaplex this past weekend and i was in tears for the rest of the night. all for a man i had never had the privilege to meet. if this doesn't show how close this fandom really is, nothing does. he truly was a hero, and he will be missed. rest in peace Tim.
I never got to meet him. But I wish I had. I'm pretty new to the furry fandom and I'm trying to catch up. This was a very Tragic loss. I mostly just want to thank him for saving people in suit but out of suit as well. He will always be remembered in the Furry Fandom!
I didnt kno him personally and never met him but I cryed watching this and all other videos about him the day I heard of his death I was at work holding a "we buy gold" sign I cried almost nonstop for my entire 7hr shift standing by the road
3:20 Sadly some people still can't look past the fact that he is a furry. Just looking at some of their comments on other videos about him sicken me.... But thanks for posting this, this was some powerful stuff here
If I died, would he talk about me...? What about my friends, my wife, my family...? What about others who have lost thier lives this past year in the fandom...? Do we all amount...?
As a furry and a paramedic / firefighter. This was moving, and hit so close to home for me. You will be missed, and honored. Rest easy brother, we got it from here.
things happen for reason little do you know someday you might meet someone you've never met before but feel a somewhat familiar connection and remind you of someone
Yes... Lemonade was a friend of mine as well... We all truely miss him still :) He is one that cannot be replaced as a friend and (to me a brother as i am in ems also)
He was truly an awesome furiend.. last year he told me this- "..it's not if you're popufur, its how you treat others and yourself that defines you in this fandom"
It's sad knowing he lived so close to me before I moved. I wish I could have gone to the funeral. But I'm grateful that Kage is keeping his memory going.
If only you could see the look on my face right now. I missed this because I went to be a part of the fursuit dance competition prelims.... Kage...if you see this, I know I thanked you in person...but sir...you....you couldn't have said my words any better. Tim was one of my best friends. Someone who I looked up to, even at the same age as him. He was my hero....my friend....and most importantly...my brother....a fellow Eagle Scout....a brother...in blue!
I know i'm late here, but this is very very well said. Such a great man that represented the fandom very well. Never got to meet him at all, but reading on him and hearing everything, i can guess he was a major part in the fandom and was a good friend to the many people that met him. He will be dearly missed in the fandom for sure. RIP LC.
I don't know who lemonade coyote was, but this speech broke my heart. He sounded like such an amazing person; my deepest sincerity to all those who knew and loved him. And thank you for the speech, Kage, and you, TechieFox, for uploading it.
Uncle Kage gave this very same speech a couple weeks ago at IFC... wish I had the ability to film it then. I never had the chance to meet Tim/Lemonade, yet whenever I think about his life being so needlessly cut so short, all I want to do is cry.
I took almost seven thousand photos of fursuiters at AC this year, and the one thing that pains me the most, is that I'll never get a chance to take a picture of is Lemonade Coyote.:'-( The link to all my photos is listed on my FA, I'm LostWolf123.
This was my most memorable memory of AC. The whole room EXPLODING into a cheering standing novation in respect to Lemonade. I never got to meet Tim sadly but this blew me away, you had to be there to feel the scope of love and praise for the young lost hero, knowing he was adored this much and always would be. After such a display of pride I think everyone got to know how much he touched peoples lives, and being in that cheering room touched mine. Thank you for an amazing AC Kage! Lemonade
This, this really hit home. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us apart of furry and also the rest of the world. I personally have never had the privilege to meet Mr. McCormick (lemonade coyotoe) but he, as well as many other furries who have passed on, have a living legacy that lives on in each of us. I'm proud to be who iam, im blessed to be apart of something so heartwarming, and I hope that can be shared to others as well.
Absolutely wonderful tribute. I didn't know Mr. McCormick, but I recognize that wonderful spirit of service.I was once a volunteer firefighter myself, and I saw that spirit in the emergency personnel I had the privilege of working with. Lemonade Coyote deserves every ounce of tribute he received and more.
after watching this i feel that it's inspired me to try and be a better person and also make me more proud then ever to e apart of the furry fandom the people i've met and the people i've seen are so wonderful the fandom is possibly the best thing to have ever happened to me.
R.I.P Lemonade, it sucks & is sad that you were taken so early from us but we always have you in our prayers & we will always love you yup yup, we all hope the day we see you again we can all give you a big hug in heaven
Well said. We had a similar tribute to Lemonade Coyote at Furnal Equinox 2013. The con theme was Furries in Uniform. Many Furries who went to the con were service members from paramedics to fire fighters.
I didn't know him personally... but I had a respect for him. It really does hurt to know such a great figure in the community is gone... Uncle Kage, you're a powerful speaker, and thank you for this.
I didn't even know who Lemonade Cayote was until a few weeks ago... But seeing this is incredibly powerful. I've never seen Kage this passionate about something, and the way the crowd is cheering and applauding is amazing. I'm honestly very moved by this, and I'm on the verge of tears right now. I really think this is now my favorite video regarding the furry fandom... Honestly, after watching this and hearing Kage speak, this is more of a community than a mere fandom...
This is the ONLY furry post I've seen without hate by other people. And this is the ONLY video I hope stats that way, Because the chlorine gas incident has hate out the ass. RIP Tim "Lemonade Coyote" McCarthy.
OMFG his best talk and will never doubt it EVER! Lemonade and I have never met but I wish him happiness for all the lives people now have because of him! The Furry Fandom will forever miss you!
I hope anti-furries will see this and realise how loving the furry community is. We are a big family with feelings. We look out for each other and respect those who we have lost. Lemonade Coyote was a brave furry. Even outside the fandom, he looked out for people and protected them. He did not deserve to die so young. R.I.P Lemonade Coyote. One of our best furry family members. We all love you... 🐾❤

Ah, Timothy. The man who helped me make a decision to go into med. school.
6 dislikes, from people who refuse to admit they were wrong about furries.
How could anyone dislike this? LC was a cool person
chaosdemonwolf1 I didn't know him personaly, but a hero is a hero. He deserves the respect of the world because he saved lives.
Agreed
agreed

R.I.P, LC :( You're deeply missed.
This is why Kage is such a great ambassador for us. He speaks the truth and has a way of uniting people when troubled times strike. R.I.P LC.

I know it’s been 7 years, and you probably don’t remember posting this, but hopefully you are doing well, and always remember that everything will get better soon. That is all, peace.
I just found out yesterday. Extremely sad to see such a beautiful person gone so soon and unexpectedly.
@@schwxn Same, it’s especially sad because he was tragically killed by a drunk driver.
I bet Timothy would have tried to help the person they crashed with, if he survived.
R.I.P Tim, 2 years later and his memory still lives on. Great speech Uncle Cage!
I remember being 11 at the time at IFC 2011 Lem (Tim) came up to me as I was crying and gave me
an almost 40min. speech about how crying was good for you. what a guy
I hope you are cherishing this memory well, my friend.
Do you happen to remember the speech? It's been a while so probably not, but I'd like to read it

Not quite, lol

RIP Lemonade, thank you Uncle Kage, for posting

Sadly, I can't take the credit. It's a poem I encountered long long ago. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it; that was the point of posting it.
I just found this post 2 months after it was posted, but it only took those four lines to get me emotional. Beautiful, just beautiful.
I know i'm late here, but this is very very well said. Such a great man that represented the fandom very well.
I took almost seven thousand photos of fursuiters at AC this year, and the one thing that pains me the most, is that I'll never get a chance to take a picture of is Lemonade Coyote.:'-(
The link to all my photos is listed on my FA, I'm LostWolf123.
4 years ago today we lost Lemonade Coyote. Rest in peace, we love you and will never forget you.
I never knew him, but I wish I had the honor of meeting him. I was almost in tears at the end of this tribute.
This is why we are one of the most accepting communities!
That was beautiful. I wish I knew the guy personally; so I would know for myself what a great man he was.
If tears could build a staircase
And memories a lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again
Furries. Sharing the love and the hurt, since 19something. Keep dancing in the stars, Lemonade
I... I... I don't know what to say... I'm so sorry lemonade R.I.P you were a good man.
I'm a furry from Britain and even though I never met Tim when I heard about him I had tears in my eye he was such an inspirational man
Thank you for posting this. I cried a bit as he told this story live on stage. I really wish i knew that young man before he passed.
Well said, Uncle Kage! Well said!
May we never forget the deeds of this hero!

Wish I could press "like" more than once for this video. Well said Kage!!!
God bless your soul Tim McCormick. Rest In Peace
Honestly, after watching this and hearing Kage speak, this is more of a community than a mere fandom...
just knew it today... R.I.P. man * leaves a red rose on the grave * :'(
This is the ONLY furry post I've seen without hate by other people. And this is the ONLY video I hope stats that way, Because the chlorine gas incident has hate out the ass. RIP Tim "Lemonade Coyote" McCarthy.
You said it, Uncle Kage! R.I.P. Lemonade Coyote.
OMFG his best talk and will never doubt it EVER!
Lemonade and I have never met but I wish him happiness for all the lives people now have because of him!
The Furry Fandom will forever miss you!
god all ways takes the best one to bring them to a better place may his soul rest in peace!
If he could see now.. With all he s imposters.... What would he think?
I hope anti-furries will see this and realise how loving the furry community is. We are a big family with feelings. We look out for each other and respect those who we have lost. Lemonade Coyote was a brave furry. Even outside the fandom, he looked out for people and protected them. He did not deserve to die so young. R.I.P Lemonade Coyote. One of our best furry family members. We all love you... 🐾❤
