I have almost all of the old Action Fleet ships. Most of them are larger than the Micro Galaxy equivalents. This is 1 of the exceptions. This Slave 1 is much larger than the Action Fleet version. I think Jazwares did a great job on this ship. It looks fantastic, very detailed with great features. The rotating cockpit is extremely cool. I thought the painting and weathering were very well done. Any Boba Fett fans will love this ship.
Yea.. really missed opportunity making it the book of Boba Fett version. I would really prefer the original series version with a Han in carbonate accessory and a place to store it instead of a weapons rack.. super unfortunate. Also wish the depth charge bomb was more 3 dimensional. Makes the door feel super pointless
i dont know if its me getting older but i remember the micro machines versions of these ships being soooo much better. these just look cheap and weak. The packaging makes it look so much better, i feel like they put 20% of the budget into that
They seem to have a lot more features now though. For example the at at. The action fleet version is pretty much just cockpit and there's a small door on the side which becomes some sort of walkway. And that's it. The jazwares version has a rope to repel down speeders. There's a seating area for 10 people and the cockpit is larger with space for more people. There's also a light up display room.
I was actually quite surprised by how good these are. I thought they would be much worse, having said that though there's still issues. The fact we'll have to mod it to have it in a flight pose is frustrating, I'd even say flaw in its design. Don't say dumb though because if jazzwares see your video when they want feedback they won't understand our actual complaint. The weathering is an issue however it doesn't bother me to much as I love weathering the ships myself, makes it feel that much more personal. They missed an opportunity with the seismic charge and the rotating cockpit could be tighter but they actually included it which I didn't think they'd do. I think they could have given this to us for 10 dollars cheaper and that would have been more fair but that's a wider issue with modern toy companies tbh. I'm glad I have it but if I want anymore it'll be on clearance
sorry for the late reply, it can technically lock in place once up right if you open it and click the seats down though I’m honestly not sure if it’s meant to or just happens to be able to, I say that because it feels harder to do than it should.
Yes it locks in place I'd you open the cockpit and push the front where boba sist and push up till it clicks have to unlock it like that to make landing mode

I agree. I remember from the 80’s, and the falcon had an elevator to put Lando in. I guess I’m getting older too. 😄

I used the slide peice, slid it all the way down, and turned it to the back. Its not completely upright but it works
The cockpit Locke's in place fyi you have to open the canopy to lock the wings and cockpit in flight mode

Does the cockpit lock in place when it’s fully rotated or does it dangle around when it’s ups right and the orientation changes?
