The framedrops are real weird, maybe you are playing the xbox one version? I installed Gris today on my Series S and I got a stable 120FPS on my Samsung OLED TV (It got a next gen patch last year that enables that). Maybe it's due to the lack of VRR and 120Hz on your display? How's the resolution? I read somewhere that the game runs at 1440p on the S - can you confirm that?
