Very good arrangement. I like how you are not afraid to repeat notes at the end of a phrase instead of putting another arpeggiated chord fragments. This helps to bring out the christmas bell effect.

Question from a fun of the instrument and novice at it : on the left hand u play just the notes that are written or do you play something associated with the chords ?A little help over here
You're obviously allowed to play all the notes you want. He just wrote down the ones that sounded the best for him. As a novice i highly suggest you to begin by playing the written notes. When you feel more confortable with it you can start to improvise ;)
