I used to live there and came back to visit the widdow of G0ILM 2 years ago. I was surprised about the town centre. It used to be rather dirty and run down whereas now it´s much cleaner und looks much nicer.
I have to say, I perform in the town centre sometimes and the people that I get to meet in Doncaster are so lovely and friendly. The council have been given a lump sum to update the town centre over the next few years which I think will be great for Doncaster

I was born in Doncaster in 1965 and my family moved back to Ireland 3 years later. I still have a soft spot for my birthplace.
