I purchased this laser and have been using for 4 months. It's made no positive difference and the website won't allow real people to post reviews. The company immediately deleted my honest comments on IG and blocked two of my profiles. Shameful.
Thanks I think it's a rip off
Geez. Sorry this happened to you, but thank you for sharing with us all
oh dang thanks for sharing. that's shady. how do you feel about it now?
@@hole01 The same. I wish that I had bought the dermalux flex instead. Hard lesson learned. Oh well.
Gwyneth Paltrow is involved in marketing so I’m out. She’s crooked.
Looking for genuine reviews of the Lyma laser and I have to say thank you! Such an honest and informed review with so much helpful information. Please keep us updated!
Your welcome. I plan to put a one year update up for you! A year on with all that is happening in the world I doubt I would have been thinking about my face Vs the economy, inflation the war and everything else that is happening!!!!! £2000 is a bigger ask than it was last year! X
THANK YOU!!!!! Dr. Kemal for all this fantastic information. Your genuine reviews are priceless. Please keep educating us.
Thank you for your review. Have you done your 1 year review yet? I'd love to see what you're thinking about it after a year. I've been using mine for 2 months now. I'm 75 and have no expectations of instant results but I'm already seeing some and am quite pleased. My skin is firmer, it's slowly tacking my glycation (the depth of wrinkles have been reduced by maybe 40% or so - loving that!). Besides my overall face, I'm doing 5 minute holds on glycation and old acne scars and hoping for even more improvement over the next few months. It's definitely time consuming but so far, so good. I just wanted another video where Lucy said to to holds twice daily over acne scars so I'll give that a shot as well. Anyway, great review and looking forward to your 1 year review.
Thanks for this.
I see a noticable difference in your before and after.
Now I'll check your update video.
This is great and super helpful educated unbiased response. Thank you so much
I'm so undecided on this device, need to see more reviews from others
Hi Dr Komal- as a fellow dr i really apprecoate your unbiased review of the Lyma Laser. you mention hairgrowth and fat loss at the end of your video - Is fat loss to the face something LED or the Lyma Laser could potentially cause? i use a Red light LED mask and like you, dont wish to lose fat to my face! Many thanks x
I have the same question!
I'm still using mine and going well, nearly 2 months of use, my skin is looking great, I'm happy with it, not sure if I can see dramatic results, but my skin is glowing
Winning, shining like the sunshine I bet xxxxx
I am doing my 1st tx today while watching your review. I was concerned about excess hair growth, too. thanks for even mentioning. my main concern is that I'm in the US. and my Lyma laser has red light, not blue (which is why I was concerned about hair growth). what do you know about the red light instead of blue? my understanding is the FDA wouldn't approve sales here with the blue light so lyma had to use red. they really didn't answer my questions satisfactorily. I go to the UK frequently enough where maybe I should have waited and bought it there.
@@kendrakendrakendra3853 I don't use mine any longer, I hope it works for you, ended up being a waste of money. There are better and cheaper devices out there.
Good luck 👍
I have only used it for three days and I'm seeing a big change already. I have horrific acne scars and I'm in chemo so that says a lot. The hyperpigmentation from the chemo has already faded a bit
I have used the laser for 1 month.. I noticed my skin is softer and looks healthier... Just to mention that I bought the laser for sun spots and alittle sagging on my face..but i was worried about fat loss? ..as for growing hair? I tried it on my arm.,, my hair is less noticeable on my arm since i am older now...and i notice hair growth on my arm. after using the laser....I didn't see it on my face..thank god...
How is you skin doing now with the Lyma laser?
I wish u had used your mother or mother in law to show the results rather than yourself. Im surprised you chose yourself rather than skin where improvement might be more noticeable for the viewer. Nevertheless, thanks for making these videos. X
I honestly think you can have better results with IPL in regards to treating the skin and it’s far more effective in gaining quicker results. Botox and fillers are primarily use to treat wrinkles and facial volume. I don’t feel you gain dramatic result unless your treating the skin alone. I personally don’t feel it justify the cost.
Ya but she's young and doesn't have any wrinkles or need facial lifting or volume.
So there's no way of testing or expecting
that on her. Can't review the product based
on that then, right?
you don't need filler/botox!! You look beautiful!!
Thanks for the post. Very helpful. Does it help any tightening or lifting of the skin?
Great video 😊Have you tried it on the pigmentation on knees/elbows. Can we have some summary on that please x
Yes lovely! Theres alot of body parts that i need to laser, will pop on the update soon as im done x
The retail price of £1,700 is a very expensive punt for something we have no concrete proof works.
A fool and his money are easily parted.
I've had it for a month and it actually works
Super interesting and informative video. Thank you. I have had mine for 2 weeks. I used it for 30 minutes on my face and the next day I looked burnt. Maybe I overdid it as I tend to do. Also I think the 2 products are rubbish. I like to use it with a good serum and them a facial oil to help glide.
how do you feel about it now?
I so agree with you about the products. Not so much the mist as a mist is a mist to me and when I run out I'll fill the bottle with an essence. The Glide -- I hate it! It's sticky and you constantly have to add more to keep spraying and the spray doesn't always hit where I want. So annoying. I also tried using it with their Skincare Serum and Cream and didn't much care for that either. Someone mentioned she used oil, and what a game changer! Every night I was dreading trying to get the Glide off so it wouldn't interfere with my night routine. Now I just leave the oil on and add onto it, and my skin has never looked better.
I think you can get better results with microneedling, I've been doing it for 12 years I started at the age of 40.
Wow! 12 years! You may have been one of the firsts. I guess my concern is possible infection, breaking the skin Barrier, you must have a good/clean technique doing If for that long. It’s essentially similar to the Tria laser, laser needles as opposed to actual needles.
@@drkomal1325 I sterilize everything in alcohol and 20 minutes after needling I use an antiseptic cream on my face, plain old germolene, I've never had one single problem. I always use fresh pillowcases on my bed also, you don't want your freshly needled face on a pillowcase that has bacteria on it, I prefer to use satin pillowcases.
Thanks for posting this. If you don’t mind sharing, I’d like to ask what you use to do microneedling? Is it a dermaroller or a needling pen? Also, do you use the on your face? Thank you!
@@anne853 I started with a roller years ago then switched to Dr pen. I needle my face and neck.
@@EnniRoc l am happy with the results. You're right, as long as everything is sterile you'll be fine.
@Doctor Komal…your reports are great and can’t wait your next upload of video!!!!! Been a few weeks and want to see if any improvement or after use comment 🤔😏
Hi SD! Thank you for your kind words! Updates in new video x
11:54 I found this info. Not sure if correct. Please clarify its validity.
It is a combined 808 (NIR) and 620 (red) nm. I wonder why they use the word laser as it is not monochromatic as in laser’s definition. The company itself stated that this device is equivalent to LightStim which is LED, not a laser. Find out more from this FDA document. www.accessdata.fda.gov/cdrh_docs/pdf21/K210823.pdf
Just purchased it for 2695.00 line near Boston im praying it works for me
I have done the full 3 months did the full treatment every day, to me my skin looks the same so I am disappointed in this laser, however I am 78 maybe it does not works so well with older skin, I shall be looking to sell it on
Hi Carole :( I am sorry to hear that. I have discussed your comment in my recent video. xx
Hi Ms. Carole how much are you going to sell it on? Thank you
After a year, are you just happy with the results?
I don't see any benefits to your skin visually, in fact I see more pores in the second "After" picture; your skin is just fine! And, as a doctor, you must know that Botox and filler don't do anything for your "skin", they don't improve the skin.
Could you give us a review on NIRA laser. It would be greatly appreciated.
is there any alternative available without costing 3k USD?
Is this laser for young people who fightvhyperpigmentation or can it be used for older skin
My lyma laser has bright RED lights, no blue lights? I hope I did not pay a lot of money to have LED instead of a laser.
Red is the US version, laser is exactly the same.
Does it work?
@@mariaangelesseguramariaang7294 honestly, I only just received mine a few weeks ago and I’ve used it on my knee because I’m healing from surgery, for that I can tell the difference before I used it and after.
@@lisapajonas5500 thank you
@@mariaangelesseguramariaang7294 No problem! I do intend to start using it on my face in the New Year as well, if I forget to post here, just respond to this and I will update. :)
Experimentation on animals is a disgrace and mostly non conclusive with regard to humans
How do you know the Lyma laser is as good as the ones used in the scientist experiment
The before picture is blurry
I regularly use LED masks regularly. Can you use the Lyra and also LED one right after the other, Same day?
i'm here for Lyma laser!!!!
Does it help wrinkles marionette lines
What’s the best at home laser device for hair removal?
Philips Lumea!!!!!! I’d sponsor it!!!!
Does this help slackening of the skin? I don’t have wrinkles or blemishes but noticing slackening of my skin, so if I bought this it would be for tightening and muscle tone xxx
Me too. Ah, but no reply. Looking for skin tightening and improved shape.
The only way to deal with skin laxity is surgery. I had it done. Deep plane facelift, neck lift, upper lip lift, and I had my eyes done too - blepharoplasty - upper/lower lids. Then I had a nose job a year later. Yes it’s addictive. Because it works. I didn’t have any work done until I was 62.
unjustifiably expensive and does NOTHING
Do you speak from personal experience?
Yes I’m wondering to. Would like to hear of everyone’s experience
I disagree. But the condition of my skin has been horrible, maybe it doesn't show results if your skin is already good?
Thanks for the reply what is your recent video

@@drkomal1325 thank you for the comment I am pleased it worked for you, I did so want it to work for me, I put an awful lot of effect for it to work as you say it works for some and not others. Thanks again for your time 🙏
I purchased one, only a week in but will update for you & your other subscribers. Take care
Please do! Can't wait ☺️
what's your update on the LYME? I am keen to know your experience as I may buy one.
@@fellasg Hi, So far I have not seen any major changes but it's only been over 3 weeks. I was traveling and missed a few days. I do think the texture of my skin is smoother, haven't noticed any difference in my fine/deep lines but hard to tell. Been using it on my knees and veins so far I don't see a difference but also hard to tell. I am hoping in 2 months I will notice changes. It is a huge investment so I am hopeful. I also will not be reordering the spray & gel it is just too expensive. Take care, Karen
@@fellasg Should add I am 58.
@@bekind4329 Thanks for your reply. I do hope it shows significant and fantastic results as claimed in its website. I do look forward to your observation after 8 weeks of use.
Hi
Do you think is good for tone the face?
Does it work for sebaceous hyperplasia?
fat loss? that's worrying. how can that be if it decreases wrinkles?
I Know!!!! I have mentioned your valid point in the next video and a briefly look at the evidence xxx
I've also heard fro people who've experienced fat loss - esp around the cheek area
Thanks for doing this video. What is the difference between cold laser vs infrared vs led red blue or yellow photon for cosmetic purposes, pain and inflammation relief
Hi J, I have replied to your question in my next video x
Sorry it looks like an expensive flashlight 😄
Does it help with thread veins?
You look amazing!!
Hello Dr Komal as an African woman having skin with a tendency to hyperpigmentate, I can highly recommend Skinceuticals and Neostrata. I can give you the names of the products if you are keen. Your skin will thank me!
YAAASSSSSS please xxxxxxx
Thank you lovely. I really hope it does! It claims to... I have a few of my own... so will give it a go and let you know... apology in advance for be pre pictures lol x
Skin looked better in before pics
Good info but your video is too long.
I was interested in this laser more as an additional way to reduce fine lines. It's a great review but for the sort of concerns that you described, I am not sure why not using a retinoid (like adapalene, or even tretinoin) and niacinamide. Used everyday those 2 things alone will do great for your skin, you should see results after 4/5 months but it will progressively improve after that. And will be much cheaper.
I use Tretinoin and have used for a few years but I need help for deeper acne scarring and melasma. Have just purchased the laser. Let’s see how it goes!
Thank you for your kind words! I agree with you Rico, I have discuss your valid point in my new video. x
@@ninagill1407 any updates??
@@momom4548 yes. The gel broke me out so badly so I stopped using it and my skin has cleared up again - maybe the laser? I actually leave the house without foundation now which for me is a miracle. Melasma around 50% improved. Acne scars about 35-40%. I don’t really have an issue with wrinkles yet. I am really happy with the laser. A great investment. I’m on week 5. The texture of my skin is so nice now.
How much did they pay you to do this ?
Is this lyma laser good for acne or acne scars ?🤔 🙂
Hi Barbs, I have answer your question in my new video x
@@drkomal1325 thank you , I'll have a look on your new video 😊
@@drkomal1325 can I ask one more question, is lyma laser better than led mask like Dr. Dennis Gross led face mask or are they pretty much the same ? Thank you for help 🙂

Not plausible due to ramblings. Such a pity as we expect more from a doctor.
