24:55 couldn’t stop my fingers .., Bro , this man one fucking hell of living legend .. blew my mind that he still managed to remember those old war stories ( opium war , vieTnam , cia , British heroine assisted program etc) given his age and amount of substance he has put in his body till date .. whistleblower 😅
I wish he was asked more critical follow up questions .. it would allow d Nepalese to understand macro perspectives on “ war on drugs” how USA started , how these changed the overall narratives on drugs , how it is deeply connected to geo political economy issues and why certain plants given by nature were prohibited under the pretext of Narcotics prohibition. However all these narcotics law only favors group of people who owns MNC pharma n who rules d world , putting profit before people n planet. One more thing , after listening to his opinions on the big pharma topic (which I mostly agree with ) do some research on single molecule medicine . You will find that scientists were trying to get more precise dosing and to make medicines that were stable and always produced the same positive results every time whereas with plant medicines the doses are not always consistent from batch to batch .
