Asmodeus delivered the crystal , Stolas now has to deal with the choice to free Blitzo and give him the crystal. And whether Blitzo will totally leave him or stay with him.
Not at all. He's already made the choice. The only way he can prove to Blitz that this isn't just a novelty or transaction to him anymore is if he cuts that cord. If Blitz no longer needs the grimoire to do his job, and they no longer need to carry on their arrangement, then Stolas' advances potentially lose that context, and hopefully Blitz can see what's really there, and not just a blue-blood using him.
But it's a risk, because Blitz's walls are raised so firmly that he performs all manner of mental gymnastics to avoid the notion that someone is getting close to him.
Because Blitz thinks he already knows how that story ends. How it's always ended. To pretend otherwise would be to make himself vulnerable, and he could be hurt again.

Lot of symbolism here, like the red string of fate, the sun being the giver and the moon being the receiver, Stolas being the water always trying to reach the moon but can never touch it. God they did amazing to explain so much on how they feel.
I'm worried Blitz will take this the wrong way. Stolas is trying to prove his love by giving him the choice to stay with him, no strings attached, or to let him free, where he never has to bother with Stolas getting the book back. But Blitz is damaged. Everyone one he ever cared about has left him in the past. Blitzy could see this gift as being left again.
I can pretty much guarantee that this is exactly what will happen. It’s probably going to be gut wrenching and bad. Luckily, there’s a lot more of Helluva Boss to go, and they’re not going to get a fully happy ending until close to the end.
Almost everyone around Blitz will know what’s going on: Moxxie, Millie, and Loóna, as soon as they see that they’re not using the book anymore. Fizz and Asmodeus, because they know the backstory of the crystal. No one, absolutely no one, believes that Blitz doesn’t have feelings for Stolas (except possibly Stolas). They’ll get thrown together at some point, but count on Blitz to put the worst possible spin on things.

Stolas' relationship with Blitz is all about consent, or lack thereof.
At first Stolas used the book to bind Blitz to him, but while it ensured Stolas would have a permanent contact with Blitz with it, it also ensured that Blitz would never be able to approach Stolas as an equal, even if you ignore Stolas' status as Nobility.
Stolas understood that he would not be able to have Blitz as an equal partner if he doesn't first free him from the contract Stolas had preciously set up between them. That contract acted more like a stick than a rope, holding Blitz in Stolas' orbit, but never allowing the relationship to truly get closer either.
4:09 when the light litteraly leaves his Eyes...damn that hurts, no matter how many times i see it. Stolas gave us the essence of "unrequired Love" in song form (if it ends up like that, anyway). Blitzo is a textbook self-sabotager, telling himself that everybody leaves in the end anyway so he can push them away without issue...I hope that this gesture of freedom isn't understood as a willing distance by Stolas or any reconciliation is going to be a huge hurdle for them
I don't consider myself the type of person to just cry during a sad song, but this scene you described had me curled up in my bed wracked with sobs. Whenever I need a good cry, I watch people's reactions to this song just to remind myself that these feelings are completely natural, that I'm not somehow wrong for these emotions. T_T
@@CharvaleThere are a few songs that managed to make me cry or at least, teary eyed but the Story is what does that for me, not the song (I mean, damn I stoped counting for how many times I bawled at Honkais Story)

Needs to end" - he feels like Blitz is doing all this just because he gave him the book, so he needs to keep "entertaining" Stolas to keep the acces to the living realm. That's why Stolas is giving him the crystal. To give him freedom. Give him a choice. Will Blitz still keep contact with Stolas after that?

For making you means to an end" - also from Blitz's perspective it looks like Stolas is just using him to get out of his relationship with Stella.

A thing once broken but still cherished shows its history.
Its weakest points reinforced and guarded, the slightest hint of damage instills panic.
A person with a broken and damaged heart defends what little they feel they have left while hating that it means so much to them.
Besides the wonderful animation and beautiful song.. storywise...The plot wasn't supposed to turn into a romance but it just happened and I'm glad it did..but I'm afraid it won't end well for Stolas..but..who knows.

Stolas has made up his mind to give him the crystal (as he says in the song he has to give him the choice) but he's terrified that Blitz will leave.

INTERESTING FACT: #brycepinkham the va + singer of #stolas was ACTUALLY CRYING in the booth/studio while recording #justlookmyway. He was just supposed to sing it character to give a heart-broken-melancholic feel. The crying was not scripted, it just happened.

Thank you for your reaction video. You are so right on the money with your discussion about school, bullying and the walls we build around ourselves during that time for emotional survival. This is so absolutely correct.
School age children can be the most toxic environment imaginable, especially if you are emotionally sensitive which makes you vulnerable, and school age children sense this, sometimes even family, and they use vulnerability and sensitivity against you, as a weapon used to cause hurt and damage.
The walls we build to protect ourselves can and do get in the way of our later growth as people as the habits we form in our youth, in our formative years become a way of life, and deeply ingrained in our psyche. How do I know this? Experience. It can be a lifelong journey to fix the damage done, change habits and learn to trust again.
One notion came to me earlier today which is “Take care of today, seize the time, seize the now, and the future will take care of itself”. It takes time, sometimes a very long time to get to that point where you can embrace this thought and heal.
Also, Bryce Pinkham has such an amazing voice, his singing has re-inspired me to sing again after a very, very long time. It’s a long story as you can probably guess from my earlier paragraphs.
Fun Fact: this was originally a Fan-Song.

The next episode that has yet to be released is called "Full Moon", so it will likely be a confrontation about what their relationship could be. The episode after that is titled "Apology Tour", so there's speculation that this will be a mending of wrongs.
I certainly hope Stolas and Blitz can mend their relationship, both free to be with eachother without the demands of the earlier contract that Stolas can resolve with the gem from Asmodeus. It breaks my heart to see Stolas so sad, and it made me cry to see him cry. He deserves so much better than that shrew he got saddled with - eg Stella.

The truth was more realistic, they analyzed and then talked about what the song conveys and they don't exaggerate the reactions like others, and not everyone cried even though I feel bad for Stolas.
