17:00 Patrick looking fresh
I can see the shirt now, Powerful Improvements logo on the front and "One Pull Baby" on the back. They would sell like crazy! Sounds like those annual contracts are a golden ticket for you. Great video!
That would be a great shirt, right!?
@@powerfulimprovements oh absolutely, youtube fans would eat it up guaranteed. I'd buy 2 lol
Watching this video reminded me to get a bung wrench for barrels. I got the 3 in 1 that opens multiple size barrels
👍🏼👍🏼
Love your business model. getting it done 👍
Another great video. Glad Patrick is doing better. Family first.
Amazing work .
The pants are great! I have the khaki colored ones and love them!
Customer after two years... "That says to you, never give up" 😀
Yeah crazy. That was a first
Thanks for this video. My 5.5gpm machine and mixer are arriving this week. Can't wait to start working on it.
Awesome!!
Great video, Joe. My FlowPro will be here tomorrow. Jud went out of his way and picked it up from "the plant" and then overnighted it for me. I have a big project Saturday so really needed here asap. Can't wait to put it to work!
That’s awesome. You won’t be disappointed
Congratulations on your first large delivery!
Thank you!
Great video. Thanks. Good job Patrick..you to Joe🙂
😂✌🏼❤️🙏
Nice thank you Joe!
Joe can you draw up your new plumbing .love it. Napkin sketch would be great 😂
Hey Joe, just a heads up feedback. I've used those clear hoses before and it started collapsing with the pump strong suction. So I've changed to the clear ones w/ that net inside and it worked good.
Great video as always joe
✌🏼❤️🙏
I love 5.11
Patrick was still small here in this video. Wow!
He has grown so fast.
He really has.
Brother Joe! I got 20 pairs of those. Police blue, but i might try them too.
Use them Tom
Looking good Joe, hope to talk to you soon.
Pretty sure the husky wrenches that are for bathtub drains will work. I know cause I use one. Great video Joe!
Sorry I’m incorrect
Joe thought I’d let you know if you didn’t see yourself, Cody for southeast softwash just came out with an electric adjuster for the proportioner👍🏼👍🏼
Big DOGG WITH Patrick. Joe you might have to get Patrick on the weight branch !!! Hope all is well brother !
Try Deluth Trading. Awesome work pants
I have some fire house pants from them. Rugged
Joe, let me know what address and I will send you a drum wrench. I have extras. The least I can do for all your great videos 👍
Text me and thank you
Don't know if you follow south east soft wash but his video last night shows a full remote mixing manifold. He is designing one for production, won't be out for a while. This could be a game changer for the industry. Just thought I would let you know.
Great videos, your an inspiration.
Thanks
Let us know when you do figure out the exact mix. I've been pulling from the proportioner also, but if I close the SH it pulls more soap, so I close the SH a little and open the water a little to make up for it.
Polly is the only way to go. Wow you have to buy your SH and have it delivered in 55GL drums, how much is it a gallon if you don't mind me asking, it seems like it would be very high priced. We are lucky down here in the south being able to just pull up at a pool supply house and fill up, I am paying a 1:48 a gallon right now. Great content man keeps it coming. Get after it.
We pay twice that up here
So awesome, I was looking at those 511 pants for a while....Amazon- 55 gal drum wrench is like $12 bucks...cool video Joe
Joe also make sure to read the label that it is for roof washing also for SH
?
@@powerfulimprovements so some bleach labels say for use in pools only. If say you were to get pulled over and got inspected you could get dinged for that... every state is different. Just technical SDS book stuff. boring I know, but me being in pest control that kinda stuff is important
Aha. I’ll look at the label and read entirely
Joe, Excellent work! - Powerful Improvements! Great name! - What is your approach for securing annual contracts?
I use RailRiders versatac lite pants.. not sure if you can still get them.. they dry very quickly and are very durable 💪🏼
Hahaha we got safety cones! It's legit!
😂✌🏼
Amazon has those wrenches I just bought one as well got a delivery coming in as well
where did you get your Pressure washer
I have tried ALL THE PANTS. and I have found the eddie bauer guide pro pants to be the best for soft washing.
Thank you, been wanting to buy some.
Thank you!
Bung Hole Tool
You may want to try opening your water valve some to thin out your SH running through your injector. If a lighter mix is desired.
It would act like pulling from a batch mix vs choking down the SH.
Just a though, thanks for the video.
Yes I did try that initially. Makes sense but didn’t work as expected. Still experimenting
55 gal Barrel wrench
This was a great video and Patrick should narrate more, he does great job. I hope he enjoys the work and one day it’ll be 2 guys and their trucks. Glad you are getting SH delivered. Sure is convenient. What is that angle on Your hose reel for the water supply? Is that a 45 degree street 1/2” to a 3/4 “ and would you share where you purchased it?
Thank you Troy. Give me a ring about hose 860-942-3855
Hi Joe another great days work your truck set up seams to be getting better every day, see you have power reels to i take it they run off your battery . I'm a bit mixed up so you run your H S neat like how you had it sent to you ? or does your mixer unit add water too ? just you said the water was off and a little soap was on, i would really like to get into this but how i said I'm in England You have a great day and chat soon
Yeah the reels run off a marine battery. I’ll do a little explanation about it today
Barrel buddy Amazon or anywhere cheap works great
I have a 5.11 store locally in town need to check them out
For sure!
5.11 makes a great product
Coty @ Southeast Softwash has you remote blend manifold.
What’s up joe, question for you, I’ve been rinsing with just the ball valve, what do you recommend for more precise rinsing. The ball valve is okay but difficult to dial in at times. Thanks man
Joe I got drum wrench on Amazon
What mixes are you using for you washes? I’m looking to upgrade my little business and would like advice on different mixes for different jobs. Thanks. Awesome work!
I use 1% house wash on nearly everything
Another great video..Were you getting 1% with the 2.1 injectore from flow pro? I'm going to buy the flow pro soon and really want to make sure ill be getting atleast 1%. I have about the the same set up as you but will be running 4gpm with 200 ft of hose.
Yep. 2.1 injector
you can get it on Amazon
I get a tighter stream with the Davis Shooter tip.
When using the metering valves are you rinsing through that or using garden hose or pressure washer?
I soap and rinse with pressure washer
Pressuretek has though wrenches or just go on Amazon for 55 gallon drum wrench
I wear Dickies from Walmart and I know I’ve got 10% on them before and they still look good. They are a little stiff at first but after a few washes they feel good.
Gray,kaki,navy blue.
Love it
Hey Joe, what type of turbo nozzle are you using for the 5.5gpm machine. I have the same pump, pushing 3500psi though. Thanks for the great videos. Huge help!
Surface max from Lowes
How much did the drums cost with shipping?
Like 190 each. Not the cheapest but super convenient not running around
Joe what size 3 way banjo valve is that??🙏🏻
Look up Drum Wrench or Bung Wrench. You’ll find one no problem for about $15.
Hi Joe. Like always very nice video.
One question:
What size those Banjo valve? And those cane with a 1/4 reduced for a sop line?
Thank you
Hi Joe. Can you please help with those questions?
Thank my friend. You always doing a big changes on this industry.
Thank you very much.
@@cleberligia I think they are 3/4" with a 3/4 to 1/2 reducer then a 1/2 to 1/4 hose barb
Joe. Where did you get the hlas box for your manifold?
Google search junction box clear cover
Nice work, are you using a phone to shoot the video or do you use a video camera
iPhone. Then iMovie. All on phone
What type of wand (gun) is that?
Hey Joe , where did you buy the box for the metering proportioner? It looks nice inside that box. Thank you!
Google junction box clear cover
@@powerfulimprovements thank you!!
amazon has the wrench
What size hoses do you have from proportioner feeding your pump?
And which proportioner is that (1/2 or 3/4)
All 1/2. Midwest
I got mine on Amazon
Hey Joe , I notice your pressure washer runs all the time, I thought you're not supposed to let it build up pressure? is it because you're running a lower pressure while soft washing? Thank you for your time and love your vids!! You crush it
I’m recirculating through a bypass into my buffer tank when off the trigger. Pro tip
@@powerfulimprovements thank you!
I personally dont run a bypass to tank because i winterize 5 months out of the year after every use, i just use a thermal bypass
Hi Joe, do you use a contract for regular house or roof washing?
A lot of what we do is informal. But we do run the occasional contract etc depending on the project
Use two flat head screwdriver's to take the lid off
I got mine from Amazon
Is 3/8 hose good for soft washing I got 250ft
1/2
How long is your hose that you’re able to wrap around the houses? Thank you.
200”
Hey where did you get the proportioner? I’m trying to find all the pieces to build it myself
I bought mine built from Midwest Washing Equipment
Joe......isn't advisable to have a higher % of SH like what you used in roof washing to apply as house washing solution??
?
How’d those flowers make out? 🤦♂️😆
No flowers were hurt. Everything was thoroughly rinse. We never get called back for burning vegetation
My pressure hose and reel both have a bad kick when I let go of the trigger and shoot again. It shakes the wood platform and even the truck a little. Have you experienced this when you set up your skid a year ago? I don't know why it's making that kick. 🤦♂️
It’s the trap pressure unloader.
@@powerfulimprovements thanks. I will look into it
@@powerfulimprovements hey Joe. Blessings to you and your family.
I notice you have no kickback when you pull your trigger...what unloader do you have and what size is your machine?
So according this video… you’ll be grabbing the remote proportioner from south east soft wash??
😂 unlikely. But it is nice
Can u post where u order the titan reel
Southside Equipment
Bung wrench
Hey Joe, good stuff man. I saw you on Jason's live RUclips show. Are you running a Gas Roof Pump? If so, which one? Thank you
12 volt
@@powerfulimprovements You turned on the red honda in your video. What was that? You were spraying really good with that.
How much was each 55 gal of sh.
Seems like the proportional is saving you on SH? Might just pay for itself
Right. Absolutely
Checkout southeast softwash page. They are working on a remote blend manifold. I heard you talking about wanting One in one of the videos
Joe did you ever get a wrench for your 55 gallon drums if not I can mail you one
Yes sir but thank you 🙏
Hey Joe, Midwest told me to run straight concentrated Elemonador through the soap valve..... but everyone I see on RUclips with all different types of valves all mix the surfactant with water before going through the valves (like you’re doing)
Any thoughts about this because now I’m confused what to do
Dilute
@@powerfulimprovements thanks man, I definitely will... I’m not sure why they say to use concentrated when everyone else is saying dilute it
@@powerfulimprovements just thinking too, why not downstream like you have been, can you share why you ran through the proportioner?
I should have my trailer soon and can finally set everything up
@@MrNick- I can better control the ratio thus saving chemicals and only carry the one big SH tank eliminates batch tank saving space
@@powerfulimprovements that’s really smart... If you test the injector draw rate with and then without the proportioner maybe make a video to show the difference... I would love to see that if you test/film it
So your metering your bleach though your downstream injector?
That’s correct
@@powerfulimprovements Thats genius, I’m gonna set mine up like that. Thats just a regular 3 way ball valve? Or is it a “side Load” ?
@@SleepingGaint regular
One more question sorry just to be clear, your 12 volt pump is off and just the down stream injector has enough suction to pull the bleach? Is that a 1/2 or 3/4 ball valve? Thanks joe, I want to order the ball valve today and want to get the same one.
@@SleepingGaint yes. 12v off. Downstream pulls. 1/2 valve. with 1/4 nipple for Downstream tube
Set proportioner to 1/2 you’ll be at about 1%
That seems right
Just posted the link to the wrench you need.
I think the link got taken down. But just go to Amazon and type in "carboy wrench"
I have no idea how you can work the camera like that while washing with one hand. hahaha
Pure talent 😂✌🏼❤️
google Drum Bung Nut Wrench
Joe is your annual contract just verbal ??
Yes. Verbal agreement. No issues to date
Hi Joe, is the transfer line on the second 3way balve static or is it like another drop stick? Also does the soap line from the Mixer goes straight to the soap tank? And the water to the buffer tank?
On the mixer all lines are directly pulling. SH, soap and water tanks. On my 3 way valves, on chooses if I’m pulling with 12volt or Downstreaming. The second valve directs the 12 volt flow to either the reel or transfer hose
Got the answer on your other video. Thanks!
