December intro.
You're a hero.
Wayne would be proud...Unbelievable Job...much respect and love from germany
Gracias!!! 😀😀
Nice set list 😊
Edsel KILLED it! I didn’t want to believe the rumors at first, but damn, he proved me wrong. Wayne would be proud! Thanks Edsel for bringing him back to life again, if only for a little while! 🤘🏻
I am utterly and entirely blown the fuck away. Static X has been one of my favorite bands since I was a teen. I never got to see them play live and could punch myself in the face when I learned Wayne passed and I would never be able to see them live. I was apprehensive when I heard about the Resurrection Project but this fucking slays! I already missed the Texas shows but I'm driving my ass back home to New Orleans in November to see them at House of Blues. All respect to these guys doing Wayne proud and introducing Static X to a new generation. All hail Static X!
That Wayne Static impersonator is pretty DOPE!
Nice pun
Funny thing is, he did do an amazing job. Like wow, it's like Wayne never left us.
🙄
I was gonna leave a like in this comment. Then I saw it has 69 likes. Not gonna ruin that!
@@Muggalomaniac nice.
Wayne Static has become like Caesar. No longer a person but a title passed down.
This might be my favorite comment. Ever.
The Dread Pirate Roberts?
Where can I taste Static salad?
Marilyn Mansons ex keyboardist, (Pogo) told me, Edsel Dope is a total poser!
We in Spain... Have a hero... EL CID.... He defeats Islam armies before his death. The Christians puts the corpse of CID in a horse and the Islamic army.... Runs out

You're the man bro !!
9:50 is Wisconsin Death Trip, not Fix
You look exactly like Edsel lol
brian0918 fixed ;)
fmbighair LOL thanks 😁
Seriously a trip seeing Wayne represented like this. I used to wait on him when he would come to my restaurant in Las Vegas. He would always be walking the strip, and seeing him coming to the restaurant from the patio of treasure island, was unmistakable. I always had good conversations with him and Tera. He was also the coolest uncle that kids could ask for (he always brought them with and watched the pirate show). Such a nice guy. He is missed. I am super pumped to see this show when they hit Vegas on the 27th.
This song is so much cooler now that you told us that story!
I watched this video about ten times and every time I am impressed.
Static-X is reborn with X3r0 !!!!
Even if it is Edsel Dope it still beats having a hologram of Wayne Static.
Exactly Edsel does an amazing job
I'll take the hologram.
@@charlesfoster9530 ERROR 404 - That page does not exist.
You answered my question, thanks
Turns out...he is!
I know it's Edsel and not Wayne, but he does such a great job, imagine what the band feels on stage reliving these memories.
This makes me miss Wayne even more 😢
we all do, brother
That new guy has actually got it!!!! I'm speechless!
Wasn't sure what to expect when I played this - so glad I did. Edsel Dope was simply amazing-unbelievable tribute to Wayne Static. The entire band was on point. Thanks for uploading! Respect...
The singer did an awesome job, I enjoyed the performance
Dude when I heard him sing LOVE DUMP, I was headbanging like a mother fucker. Hearing IAM right now and I can't keep my fucking leg still lmfao! I'VE GOT MOTHER FUCKING GOOSEBUMPS!
Saw the show last Saturday night in Jersey at the Starland Ballroom, great show! Yes its Edsel Dope doing a phenomenal job paying respect to Wayne Static. He was Waynes close friend, they cut their teeth together playing gigs together with their bands. NUMEROUS times during the show they praised Wayne, MUCH respect was shown. Thanks to them all for keeping the music alive!
I never got to see them live before last night (Rock City, Notts, GB) and it was SUCH an awesome night. Thanks for uploading so I could relive it, even if it is a different audience
Wisconsin Death Trip gave me goddamn goosebumps! Enormous respect to Edsel Dope for being able to channel the energy and voice of Wayne. Thank you, sir! Hope these guys continue for a long time. A big fan since 1999.
Static X still has a future. I am pleased. Very pleased. With Wayne gone it must have been very hard to make the decision to keep going. Proud of all them for doing this. I hope to hear much more and new creations.
Miss you Wayne.
Huge thanks to Tony for making this tour happen. Melbourne absolutely went off last night!
RIP Wayne.
Tony paid for most of this tour from what I hear. Idk if it's true or not but if he actually did, that's pretty Dope
Hot damn... Was just going to quickly skim thru the video and check out how they sounded while I popped out for a smoke... Next thing I know an hours gone and I've watched the whole frickin thing. I was on the fence about driving down to NH to check em out but I am damn sure going now! Zer0 does a hell of a job and the band is still super tight! I missed several chances to catch Static X back in the day and its been one of my biggest regrets... But this incarnation looks to be good enough to finally fill that void in my concert bucket list! Thanks for the upload!
I hope you had an amazing time dude. I live near NH myself and always liked Static-X, was absolutely shocked when I heard Wayne passed away. But damn, whomever Xer0 is, he's the best thing that could happen to Static-X. Holy shit, he sounds eerily like Wayne and I mean eerily! Pretty fucking amazing, I hope to catch them sometime as well, I would not mind this line-up continuing to tour for a long time, because this is just incredible.
Great job, made it feel like Wayne was up there again. R.I.P Wayen your legacy lives on my brother.
I miss Wayne, but this was Awesome! Static-X did Great! It bought tears to my eyes that haven't been there since Wayne.
This is so damn badass and can't believe it their asses proved me wrong...RIP Wayne we miss you brother, glad to see your legacy is living on in one form or another
I’m in the same boat... I regret not going to the show
@@jimmynoname4089 straight up
Dude.... Whoever Xer0 is is really giving these people a GREAT performance for their money. No one will ever be Wayne, but this is respectable
It’s Edsel from Dope
It's definitely Edsel. He fucking crushed it.
Edsel is doing an incredible job
It's more than respectable it's probably as close to Waynes voice as humanely possible. He did an amazing job!
I agree. It seems so strange and almost wrong that they would have a replacement for Wayne with his hairdo and everything on stage filling in for him. I would never have thought they would do that. Maybe do a few shows or even a tour as a tribute with some guest vocalists from other bands, kind of like the Mitch Lucker Memorial show at most. But this guy is definitely holding it down. I'm pretty impressed! I know that Wayne would have wanted his bros to continue on with the band that they love so much and if he had to pick a replacement, I'm pretty sure it would have been this guy. My opinion.
I watched Static X live in 2002 and I remember being shocked by their stage presence. I listened to Machine all the way up to the day of the show. We watched maybe 5 bands play before Static X who wasn’t even Headlining that festival. Static X hit the stage they go straight in with Bien Vendios/ Get to the Gone and Static X blew my mind. They sounded exactly like the album no errors no feedback just raw and evil as Fuck on a epic scale. It was like a bomb went off in the crowd. The most hellacious pits started and that place went Mental for an entire set. I knew then I’d follow this band. I miss Wayne but I’m glad they honor his memory by playing on. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Saw them in Reading PA, it was the show that 12 year old me never got to see bc Static X was one of those band that (for my friends and I) we were allowed to listen to but we were NOT allowed to go to a show until we were 18. I dearly wish that Wayne could've been the one I saw on stage after all these years, but Xero absolutely did him justice. They absolutely blew it out of the water. Devildriver and Dope were great too, but Static X in *almost* their full glory - holy shit, what a night.
RIP Wayne, the world misses you... and so does the hairspray industry
Literally in tears of happiness.
The Wayne Static impersonator did a phenomenal job!
Yes much respect here!
Agreed
It’s Edsel Dope
Personally, this is why I'm never totally against someone filling in fo a deceased artist/band member. As long as they do it justice, I'm happy!
Fr there's no replacing Waynes voice but he was DAMN close!
I've seen Sevendust 13 times live now. My very first time seeing them, Chevelle opened followed by Dope and Static-X. It's awesome to see Edsel filling in for Wayne.
Love how they did this "reunion" great way to honor Wayne. His spirit is definitely there.
The singer did a great job they can never replace Wayne but this is a good in Memorial show love and miss Wayne and his wife this life just ain't the same with ALL my ideas gone this world just seems soon cold and empty thanks for taking the time to read this
When I was kid 1999 or 2000. Columbus at the Newport. Chevelle, Dope, Static X and Powerman 5000. One of my favorite shows I've ever gone too. X killed it.
I seen that tour at the SF Filmore , I think we got deisel machine at the time chavelle didn't make the location
@Deez CM yeah, I was like 17 those were the good old days forsure.
I'm literally crying as I'm watching this. Holy shit!
Thank you for allowing me to see this. It was worth the hour I sat and watched.
I saw Static-X twice with Wayne, this guy does a pretty good job.
my God.... i FELT like i was watching Wayne..... this makes me happy at such a deep level
I was at this gig. The energy in the room during 'Love Dump' was electric!
So glad to see so many people are supporting this. I honestly don’t think the band would’ve done it if it didn’t feel right, and I’m so glad to see this is paying off ❤️🤘🤘🤘🤘 rip Wayne, but your legacy lives on 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Wow they seriously did awesome! If that's dope singing I would honestly like to see him as part of the lineup and write an album. Solid tribute to Wayne.
I can tell its edsel no mistaking the vocalist from dope but he does a damn good close vocal comparison to the legend Wayne static.
Wow this sounds really good and never thought I would hear these songs live again sounding so great!!
Seen this show in Detroit and man! One of my favorite concerts to date! Was in the pit the majority of the time! Took a nice elbow to the collarbone and a few gnarly scratches on my back/ribs! Had a hell of a time!! #RIPWayne
They are doing a hell of a great job. I remember seeing Static-X at First Ave (yea, in freezing ass Minneapolis) as the opening band, then played another unknown band at the time, SOAD, all in support of the almighty Fear Factory on their Obsolete tour.
Thank you so much for this video! I am going to listen to it as loud as possible 💯🔥🙏🤙
Static X forever!
Thank you for uploading this...I really wanted to go but I couldn't go..again thank you so much
Me too... Thank you
RIP wayne, one of my favorite metal bands as a kid, this actually sounds great. They did a great job honoring Wayne like this.
DevilDriver and Static-x killed it in Atlanta, GA. It was an honor to have attended that first show at the Masquerade 20 years ago with Fear Factory.
Right I was there to it was a great show
DUDE I saw them with FF as well. Spineshank, Messhuggah, Hed PE, FF, Static X and Slayer. Favorite concert I've been to!
@Sad but True I miss the old masquerade so much tho the sound was so much better
Freaking awesome! Thanks for uploading this! Xero is doing a great job! RIP Wayne! We will never forget you! Thank you Static-X!
Thank you soo much!! This is a perfect recording sound and video like wow. It’s because of this post I realized everything happening with them now. I’ve been covered in goosebumps the whole video lol!!
Awesome upload, thanks for filming this its highly appeeciated.RIP WAYNE !!!!!!
After watching I had to make sure to look up that Wayne really passed to make sure I didn't get Mandela Effected
same here
True that man.
Me topic I was like wtf
RIP WAYNE!!!!
@Bart you know why he didn't right? Because when Wayne did his own solo shit he was tweaked out and he didn't follow through with concerts, having to cancel and refund a lot of people. It wasn't a good idea at the time to give it to him. It's a shame he died the way he did but you can't party like you're 20 forever.
I never thought I’d see a comeback to static X! Great job Edsel! I hope to see this live at some point! So many memories with this band growing up
I wouldn't call it a comeback.
Dude does an excellent impersonation of Wayne! Wish he had not been taken so soon. Still miss him.😢
Thanks for this. I seen them in Dallas Tx on 6-21 and it was awesome!!
I sat at the balcony area. This was one of the best shows ever.
How many people showed up?
Damn. Good shit. They hadn't even started playing yet and I got chills! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I love this. I know Wayne would have reconciled with his band had he lived on. They had this cool fuckin magic together. Very unique and I'm fuckin happy he lives on like this. Welcome back Static X . Great video and concert
Thank you man for uploading this.
I was a photographer in this pit... This was an amazing show.
Super awesome and i'll be one of the photographers at the NJ show this Saturday!!
Sup with a link to those pics
THANK YOU for posting such a high quality video of this show!! Tony was not exaggerating, this is really really good. Xero/Edsel is giving everyone their moneys worth. Would not mind at all these 4 staying together after the tour, maybe with a slight name change or something. I cannot imagine anyone else capturing what Wayne did and pulling it off so convincingly
@Eternal Rambler Static Dope
There will never be another static x.dont get me wrong this is pretty fucking cool, and its aweome to hear this again.but just like pantera died with dime, static died with wayne.
James Lee Well there doesn’t seem to be any plans after this and the album so it’s just a good tribute to last in memory for Wayne.
@@NWOWCW4Life1 i completly agree.
Static- Xero
HOLY SHIT!! I need to see this fucking concert. But they're NO WHERE close to me :( thank you for the full show upload, much appreciated! \m/
Saw the jersey show and man it was such an incredible experience. Static-X is my favorite band, it was amazing to be able to see these songs and these guys again. No one can ever be Wayne, but this is as close as you could EVER hope to get.
Would see them this way again. Can’t say enough good about what they’re doing.
I Looked at the date a couple of times , Damn this guy is good !
As much as I miss Wayne, I honestly wouldn't mind this lineup for another album.
RareHarmony yea but remember they are using all of Wayne’s material. After this album there is no more static-X at least the way we remember it
Eli Dragneel Wayne wrote all the songs as well, so it wouldn’t be the same
New power youth wayne welcome back....love u are frm Indonesia....please come to Indonesia
Hey man i couldn't make it to this show. Thank you so much for posting this. Brings back memories, kick ass.
It felt like Wayne Static is still in the band. Awesome job from Xer0 🤟🏻🤟🏻 imma see them in NJ in a few days
Yes this was well done
Unexpectedly awesome... I'm sure Wayne would aprove this! I had chills on every song
no
he absolutely would not approve of this. this is horribly disrespectful. nothing more than a cash grab.
@@davypelletier no offence dude, but u r too narrow minded. They provided quality content that is no longer availible. I'm sure Dope vocalist wasted planty of time to make his voice sound close to original.
@@Pr0v0kat0r777 they all hated wayne. tony especially. they repeatedly bad mouthed him to anyone who would listen. he was touring on his own doing his own thing. because they refused to be involved with him. after he died they continued to bad mouth him. now that there's an opportunity to make some serious cash, they act like they miss the guy? sorry i don't buy it.
@@davypelletier you maybe right, i didnt know about that, can you link anything where they talk shit/act like you sad? i'm curious, maybe its me who is narrow minded :)
Thank you so much for uploading this. Was going to try and see them but sadly my fucking leg can't handle it
this is a great tribute to Wayne. He is proud!!!!!
wow great job. Miss wayne but man this guy sounds real good. Good for static x.
Never thought I'd say this but Edsel needs to join the band permanently

Thank you so much for this!! Not sure I’m gonna make the Sayreville NJ show so this will do. 🤘
Really wish I could go see them tonight but you know how it is money wise. Thanks for putting this up. Zero is far from Wayne but I think he would be proud :) They sound awesome!
Holy shit, they still sound amazing. I would so like to see them live! Greetings from Serbia! 🤘🏼 🤘🏼
Wow this is amazing, Thank You for sharing this!!! 🤟🤟🖤🖤🤘🤘
Thank you so fucking much for this. I just saw they in Houston on the 22nd.
The Wayne Static mask is creepy but suits the band image well. Better than having a hologram show.
Yeah he looks like a living dead, a bit disturbing...
Add to it, the guy even sounds eerily like Wayne. You'd think it was Wayne himself and that his death announcement was a hoax.
Who needs a hologram when the next best thing to a deceased vocalist is up there on stage giving the original person a much needed tribute.
Its like they brought Wayne back to life.
🤘
This makes me happy. Brother Wayne would be proud.
RIP to one of the best to do it. We miss you Wayne
I love u for this thank u can hear wayne screaming along in heaven over everyone rip saying louder
1999 i met this guy wayne super cool down to earth rip
Just seen Static tonight in a club that hold bout 400 people. Just a AWESOME SHOW. RIP Wayne
In 2001 I saw Static X at Sunset Station in San Antonio, Tx. The opening band that night was Dope. Both bands put on a hell of a show. It’s awesome to see Edsel fucking kill it while paying tribute to Wayne. Much respect.
Dude how can i like this 1000 times sucked i had to miss this cause i had to work that night I remember meeting them at sunset station me and my buddy had nothing to do so we went to go wait at sunset like at noon so they sent a lady to go get us and she said the band noticed us just sitting there waiting for the show to start so they let us in to hangout and drink a few beers and listen to their new cd which was about to come out at the time one of the best days/experiences ever 🤘🏼 rip wayne long live static x and their music
Ben Montoya i took drum lessons with ken for over a year. he’s super cool
Man....freakin DAY JOBS! lol I'd make a ton more music if I didn't have to work.
I was there brother!!!! They tore it up!!!!!! Also saw them at Sunken Gardens with Godsmack and Disturbed. I might be wrong about the lineup.........lol
I asked for the day of the concert off, my boss forgot I asked and still put me on. I called him and he ended up loosing my paper with the info, got my day switched and I’m going to see them in2 days
xmac1224 it was staind, static-x, godsmack and pitchshifter at sunken garden ya i was there too that was actually my very first concert
Quality upload buddy. They really do sound great. Amazing to see Ken Jay back behind the kit for Static x, best drummer they ever had, he makes them sound like they old band from back in the day. If only Wayne and the guys could have got over the ego bullshit when he was still alive!
Just saw these guys last night for the first time in Sydney, I fucking loved every minute of it, never got to see them when wayne was alive, I never got to see wayne solo either so I was sad in a way I never got to experience that but from what I've seen on videos of static x live performances over the years the dude at the front really nailed wayne down to a T. Concert was absolutely beautiful and I hope I can see them again some day
Steiner Recliner It was my first as well in Sydney. Loved every minute of it! They need to come back again.
Thank you for uploading this!
Man this looks awesome! Wish I could have been there.
Fuck yeah this is the good stuff! Glad I was able to see Static-x a few years back before he passed. RIP brother.
One of the best bands I've seen live
Saw them in Dallas last month and it was a mind bending performance by the entire band especially if you are a true fan!!!🎤🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼They played Wisconsin death trip in its entirety it seemed lol I loved it!!!!!
gonna see this in October, then 2 days later the original Machine Head playing their first album as well - can't wait
same, its gonna fucking smash!
A Great birthday gift!

R.I.P. Wayne
Very impressed. When I first heard about this I was under the assumption the stand in was only going to be lip syncing. So glad to see I was lead astray and the front man is doing one hell of a great job actually vocalizing.
Saw them in Southampton England in 2019 alongside Dope, Soil and Wednesday 13. Best gig iv'e ever been to so much energy.
