Looks like a fun FPV RC car for kids to capture some driving videos, those front flips toward the end were cool, good look at this one Ryan 👍

Hey Ryan Just wanted to ask if you knew the type of range on these models. Don't want to drive down the street and then have it lose range and get ran over.
I don't know the range but it isn't going to be much because it's WiFi based. How far outside of your home does your WiFi router reach? You can expect similar distance because you are on the ground so obstacles and other WiFi interference will really limit its range plus the little WiFi transmitter isn't going to be as powerful as a router. I wouldn't expect to get more than 100ft. You are much better off buying a cheap analog AIO TX camera and a cheap pair of FPV goggles and attach it to a RC car you already own. You'll get better range with much less lag than WiFi digital.
@@RDsRCReviews Thanks for the feedback man, I was wanting to use this for toy for driving it around the neighborhood and people being impressed by it and just having a good time. Later this year I might drop more money on a faster car with a better controller, a 360 swiveling camera, and of course fpv goggles. I rather spend more money on good equipment then buy a cheap car that isn't optimized for what i'm trying to do.

Pretty fun ground drone Ryan! I think it would be awesome if they could just get that frame rate to like 25-30fps. Kids today are tech savvy and pic up on this stuff.My kids when they got their smart phones could tell right away the phones lacked certain qualities and features😜!
The cheaper cars that DeeRc make are great looking cars though.
Can you imagine this care as a 1/12 or 1/10 with great tires and oil shocks? It would be awesome! Then they could add a better camera on it as well!🤪 still a very cool fun toy for anyone to bang around with! Take care brother! I hope the weather clears up for you!☀️🕶🌤
Agreed Robby! The fps is sad but I guess for $50 it is acceptable.
hhhmmmm, its a good idea. i simply took my traxxas x-maxx 8s, put a gimbal in it and the dji caddx vista polar, hoocke a racing wheel too a arduino uno with usb shield, and that to a multiprotokol modul. its a blast, espacaly with the headtracking. now i whant to make it in too a 1/10 offraoder and race against freinds. ill upload a how to do video ass soon as i find the time.

@@RDsRCReviews tell me about it. He was just trying to get up from rocks onto the porch. He forgot it wasn’t 4 wheel drive. Car got stuck and gears just kept cranking.

@@Trefuckor963 no!! It doesn't use the internet! It is a direct Wi-Fi connection between the camera on the rc car and your phone. That won't work far especially with so many obstructions. Even if you built a huge tower and blasted your phone's Wi-Fi signal it couldn't pick up the weak return signal from the car. Even if you could broadcast it over the internet you would have to keep the vehicle within a hotspot and those hotspots are not very large. Also, the input lag would be so bad over the internet that you would be seconds behind which would cause you to crash. You need a 1 to 1 connection. The best are the fpv systems made for drones that you can attach to an analog camera. Those can get better range than Wi-Fi but it would still be very limited on the ground where as they can go miles in the air. There's simply too many objects (houses and trees) on the ground that obstructs the signal plus the low resolution analog cameras are awful to see any detail.
@@RDsRCReviews objects shouldnt be a problem at all if the mobile hotspot is on the rc car and if theres a delay of a couple seconds thats fine it wont be going super fast just 5-10 miles a hour
