She(Mercedes Mone) didn't take any momentum from Willow Nightingale, and it is a good storytelling because in NJPW Mercedes Mone was supposed to win the Ingural NJPW IWGP Strong Women's Championship; however, Mercedes Mone suffered an injury they(NJPW) had to call an audible to put that belt on Willow Nightingale. It balanced the equation out. Now Willow Nightingale can take care of the recently heel Kris Statlander.
Did you even watch the ppv? Kris turned on Willow after the match so Willow's momentum is just getting started AND Kris is finally getting something interesting to do. You have no foresight if you can't see that.
I have been a fan of watching professional wrestling/sports entertainment for two decades and I have enjoyed it all, and I don't have to have nobody or no one that brings the news or speak about it their podcast to have me crap on this company. Because those talented people have family to feed and bills that have to be paid. It's just long term storytelling. Yes.

Kris is most likely going over in that feud...and we'll have another generational star Tony drops the ball on...but who Hunter will soon pick up and make the star they're meant to be.

Deanna didn’t get a title and she really good. I love Mercedes but this could have waited. How do you get a belt on your first time in that company’s ring? She hasn’t worked with anyone yet. Willow had been getting over and doing the work, every since ROH.

Last time a babyface champ in her first reign in a stateside company lost to a 4HW on a Big Four PPV in Vegas...it all turned out OK for her. (Immediately after that match, said 4HW was hard at work with Creative on a way for said babyface to get her hype, her win and her title back)
AEW will push he back down the ladder like they always do! Look at Soraya & how she came in a star & won the title in London last summer to now being a low tier jobber who has a losing record! She is a damn good wrestler but AEW can’t see past Tony’s a$$ to realize the talent on the entire roster they screw over!

Mercedes came from WWE. It's not like she came from the WCW Power Plant. AEW has only been around for 5 years. AEW wrestlers don't have a WCW Power Plant or any kind of development program like WWE.

I am so happy for Mercedes Mone for making history she has been WWE NXT Women's Champion, WWE Women's World Champion(WWE Raw Women's Champion), WWE Undisputed Women's Champion(WWE SmackDown Women's Champion), three times WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, NJPW IWGP Women's Champion and now AEW TBS Women's Champion. She just proved to everyone and everybody that you don't need WWE's big machine (this is not a knock on WWE) however she believes in herself, her self worth and she bet on herself to achieve.

I love Mercedes since she was on NXT going on to the main roster OF WWE. I have always love her and support her. She’s unique, MY only problem is THE CEO SONG 😡is so annoying that I can’t even begin to explain how much it bothers me, my son knows that I hate this song and when the song comes up my son runs to me and puts he’s little hands on my ears and say I’m sorry daddy that you gotta listen to this.
