After all that reminiscing about being a good hunter, the emo flip out at the end was a little jarring. Dude, didn't you want the job back? That wasn't even that bad of a betrayal...

Imagine dedicating your entire life to an organization believing whole heartedly in the work and respecting and revering the man who you work for just to have a single mistake have them 'abandon' and use you at your lowest point. We can only say it wasn't that bad from the outside looking in, but it's pretty fucked up for him to just offer his job back like nothing happened.

I'm not sure it was a betrayal they saved him. They had his back. The only thing they could have done is told him but a place like that is gonna have rules about that especially if he may be compromised

The stories always give me a feelin of authenticity n mixed with the voice of Creeps, it just comes together just perfect.
the protagonist could opt to go independent monster hunting.
Other than outside of an organization that wants it done which maintains their own hunters I doubt there is anyone paying for the monster hunting business.
Gotta say it. In one night, probably more like two or three hours or so, this guy ran across a horde of mutant spiders, an eye stealing troll under a bridge, and a plethora, dare I say, cornucopia of vampires. The bureau needs to seriously step their game up!
Good story till the end. I wish he went back but got the not so evil monsters better treatment now having more empathy towards them.
Recommendation; Favorite Cryptid Hunt story.

The ending doesn't make any sense If anything he would want to get back in there to cure his you know whole werewolf issue. Then he can like work his way up to the top you know you revenge on all those who use them as bait and such maybe change the department cuz it clearly like all these creatures aren't all bad and all deserve to be tortured.

great story but the ending is pretty shit. like, wasn't MC was raving and sweet talk about how much he loved his job and how he had to talk to to his supervisor to try to get his job back? that "plot twist" doesn't make any sense . the job would have given him more access to better materials for his months transformation and would keep others safe, who knows how long his diy coffin will keep up.
