I remember that "We the people of India" fought our battle strongly against removing net neutrality issue and won with majority. There was a email template pre-configured to send it to the government organization "TRAI" which helped us raise our voices and show our support with net neutrality in India. Can we do something similar to that for stopping Data Protection Bill?

The only way to stop this bill from doing damage is to change govt next year so that newly elected govt will declare it unlawful and will remove it from constitution.

Moreover, the section 81J should be dealt in a better way. Data protection bill is actually required now because of so many breaches and misuses. I remember that "We the people of India" fought our battle strongly against removing net neutrality issue and won with majority.
There was a email template pre-configured to send it to the government organization "TRAI" which helped us raise our voices and show our support with net neutrality in India.
Can we do something similar to that for stopping Data Protection Bill?
A similar thing is happening in the US where lawmakers are trying to pass a bill that will ban TikTok but at the same time it will endanger civil liberties in the digital sphere.

@@sarveshsinha1530 The problem is the board which is going to inspect all info will be directly handled by CENTRAL GOVERNMENT...if someone has done anything wrong any organisation is trying to collect info on it but if that someone is govt friendly the board will straight away say i wont give permission or rather if it wants to punish seeing that organisation has collected info without consent it can directly fine him her upto 500.... are u serious abt this....the right to info is was a great initiative one where people get info disregarding whoever he is ...what i m saying is the Right to info should be headed by independent organisation so that it can give proper judgements without being partial to the central government and it should be open to all....this amendment clearly shows the mentality to weaken the source of information whether its opposition or public whoever questions the government in power.... definitely not good for democracy
