Iv still not got a handle on this but 2 things come to mind. 1) they have battery power or another power source that is miles in front of commercial drones allowing them to stay up for hours 2) they also seem to have the Skinwalker effect mastered where they can drain the battery of any drone trying to get close.

Just listened to air traffic controller converse with several pilots in Oregon. Describes appearance and movement. Very, very interesting.
