Thanks Clay, Hamilton, and Wild Bill for helping to get the weekend off to a great start. Things are just out of whack without a few minutes on the truck on Snap On Friday! Keep up the good work.
I am just like you, I take half an hour to 45 minutes at the end of the day of work cleaning my tools. I use purple power that my cousin sends me regularly from the USA
No green. No yellow. I like red and black. That grill looks pretty sweet. I had a tool replaced with a green handle. It makes my eye twitch every time i see it. I worked for John Deere for several years. I got tired of green and yellow. Now i see orange every day. Ill just stick to me red. Great video Clay
I’m a heavy duty tech and I use Matco ratchets and anything heavy for the most part. I don’t like the snap on power stuff air, or ratchets compared to Matco but I like snap on wrenches and other small stuff. Sunex for impact sockets though
I just picked up some snap on pink socks from my tool guy I am doing this now I love your channel and bill and Wally!!!!! Mad respect you guys rock !!!! # all the way from Perrysburg Ohio
I sold my old red top/bottom box updated to service cart in Green KRSC46 at home. I’m now working in a small engine shop repairing lawnmowers, snowblowers, and such so I don’t need a ton of tools. I ordered the smaller cart KRSC326 in Royal Blue. Green is nice but it becomes overwhelming. I have gotten my Snap-On tools stolen in the past so now I purchase Napa Carlyle for this shop.
I swore by the snap on socks. I have 2 dozen pair. And my Matco rep gave me a pair to try. I keep buying every pair off of his truck now. Keep my feet dry and don’t get all funky like the snap on socks on hot days!
I got 2 pairs of Matco socks and 9 pairs of Snapon socks. In case you wanted another opinion of which are better, I honestly think Matco socks are great but still not as good as Snapon socks. Just my 2 cents
Thats damn sure snap on ratchets are the best. Smoothest gears ive ever felt in any ratchet and built like a tank. Not to mention they look better than any other ratchet also...
I wouldn’t say the gears strip easily ..... take a look at bearded seabee82channel and look up his videos “will it break” that’s a 3/8” impact a long time to strip out a 1/4” snap on ratchet !
The only time I ever had pink socks was when I accidentally did a load of whites with a red shop rag. ;-) Can I wear my used to be tidy whitey's too???
Do you ever engrave/etch your tools to identify whose they are? I’m in aviation and for many of us it’s a requirement, but it definitely helps with this problem.
Hahahaha, H.A. Wally, pink socks, wild Bill, just another day at the shop! Best line of this video, "our HR department ain't like most HR departments"! Thanks for the great video as always, but I'll have to get a pair of pink socks from Hamilton so I can enter the giveaway! Lol
Look forward to these every Friday along with it being payday so I know what to look for on my snap on dealers truck think it's safe to say I am addicted to them but they just make such badass tools and boxes
Hey Clay, I got nervous when I saw the video title, I thought maybe Snap On was phasing out the Green Tools haha, but it was just Bill wanting a new colour, I am relieved. Love the videos man, keep truckin'
Another great snap on friday. Wild bill is still buying green. Snap on needs to come out with cat yellow. It rumoured that when wild bill goes to the bank for pocket change that the bank to order an extra truck load of money so they don't run out.
Back in the 90's before they made bushing drivers I would use a bolt with a socket over it and a 1/2 Dr extension with a hammer or a occasional zip gun bit cut short extending about 2 inches from the end of the zip gun. I'd put the end of the zip gun into the extension. Had I only thought of this idea back then I could've had a fully funded retirement account and maybe even retired early in life.
You guys are lucky to have a guy like Hamilton as your snap on dealer. Mine is fuckin trash. He comes basically every other week, his truck is always empty, the tools he does have are the highly overpriced ones that you will use once in 6 months and takes forever to warranty and order our tools. So I mainly use Matco and now I’m using Cornwell.
@koontrucking Just curious did Wally happen to ever work at a Kenworth dealership? I went to some training classes last year and he looks very familiar.
Wally if your SNAP ON Dealer hasn't ever given you a couple pair of socks he's failed to do his job. That came straight from my Snap On guy this past week who I've been buying from for 3yrs. Once he realized it he went and got me a long and short pair for FREE! He went in the bottom drawer of a box on the truck and we're talking regular size box and it was FULL of Nothing but Snap On Socks and he said take ur pick. I was tickled to death. I got 2 coats last year, one black and 1 gray (winter coats) but those were my first pairs of socks.
Hi Koon Trucking, sorry not got no pink socks so will have to pass on that one good luck to the winner, now I have a question, been a while since I was in the grease monkey game and back then it was snap on, Mac but what’s with this blue Point? sold by snap On? has it still go the same warranty? Good luck with HA and pink Friday.MarkUK
Yes it is sold by Snap On has lifetime warranty just their “budget brand” kind of like matco and silver eagle. Most of it is made overseas but will be at a much lower price point.
Hey brotha I was wondering if y'all can make a video on the t700 I'm having trouble finding any a short or what ever tf it maybe due to the window washer pump not working lights on the dash and the turn signals
We don’t have any T700 trucks but the best thing is find the circuit that is blowing the fuse and just start tracing it down you will find where it has a rubbed spot or pinched place on the wiring where it shorts to ground. Just be patient and you can find it.
I love pink and my pink tools if I ever see a pink hard handle ratchet or a pink screwdriver across the shop its mine lol great theft deterrent and extremely easy to see
