I am a Persian and I think this guy is very talented. It really does not matter where he comes from and who he is. He is an artist. Everyone out there, just let us all be friends and have mutual respect. We can all be happy. Cheers
To Fans: Does it really matter how many Afghan songs and how many Iranian songs are on his CD? Just listen to the songs and enjoy the talent. Sit back, relax & admire Valy's innovation and brilliance! What he is trying to do is to bring our two people together, just like we should be! Iran and Afghanistan share the same culture, religion, and language. We are only separated a by an imaginary line known as the border "sarhad". That line is only on paper! We are all the same.
it never gets old.. the beat, video and the song is perfect! valy is known for the "bia tu" guy in almost every afghan house, and not just that but also in other countries. valy jan, ba ese eftekhare tamame afghanha asti, moafaq bashi

About 100 years ago in Iran, the Shah reformed/improved the society in order to develope. The land was industrilized, more people moved to city from their small villages, the education became more important and more people learned how to read and write etc. In same period the Shah changed some aspects in persian language, he changed some grammar, pronouncation-system, etc before this period we iranians pronunced "Dewana/Devana" today its more Divaaneh/Divooneh"...
OMG I love this song!! IT's soooo KOOL!!! I'm proud of him man !!! Keep up the good work!!! we have a group about him in FACEBOOK ... n e one is open to join!!! brrrraaaaaapppzzz!!!
This is not only in our land,, same development u can see in english-speaking world.. like the contrast between UK and US,, when the english colonist moved to America in 18th century they reformed many things, even the english language. I mean we all can feel the different between american english and Uk english. The typicall iranian dialect u hear today its what we call "slang" its folkloric thing which exist in all cultures. ect we write "Asmaan" but sometimes pronounce "Asemoon",,,
this song had hitted one million in first year but unfortunately jelaous avang reported the video and removed the song but again we are gonna make it to one million
He actually from Mashad, Iran, but he was taught by Nasrat Parsa -thats mainly why his ascent is a bit different- this song has components of other afghani songs anyway probably only Iranian, isn't gayish or sounds gayish or is too metro anyway kudos!
And I definitely agree with you, forgiveness is now a simple word that everyone tries to stay away from, but you have got to start somewhere right? The idea of a more improved world started somewhere. The technology, the standard of living? These improvements has allowed for more improvement to take place and it is only right that people like me and you start the movement of treating everyone as equals. Because well, if we don't, then I have nothing else to say to you or the rest of the world.

ppl who are saying there is no afghan culture anymore are too closed minded to realize that ALL cultures change with time. Change is not always bad just because it is a little more modern. if music never changed then afghans would still have the exact same music for hundreds of years. When Ahmad Zahir was first coming to the scene he was modern for his time every genereation brings something new. learn history &stop hating
Yeah I understand bro, but you cant always be holding on to your grudges, you go to forgive and forget, besides what do you gain from holding on to the past? I say, new future, new people, new world! Don't repeat history, ain't worth it :)
Pashto and Dari are the official languages of Afghanistan. Pashto was declared the National Language of the country during the beginning of Zahir Shah's reign, however, Dari has always been used for business and government transactions. Both belong to the Indo-European group of languages. According to recent US government estimates, approximately 35 percent of the Afghan population speaks Pashto, and about 50 percent speaks Dari.
