Hawaiian Airlines Extra Comfort | Airbus A321 NEO | Kahului (OGG) to Las Vegas (LAS)

After traveling in Hawaiian’s “Extra Comfort” cabin several times now, I can say that it is a great place to spend time in. Compared to the standard economy seats, these offer a good deal more leg room. For a flight that’s usually between five and six hours long, these are the seats to get. Other than the increased legroom and comfort, the seats offer additional charging options that the standard seats do not (standard economy has one USB-A charger per seat). Overall, the seating experience was solid, and more than adequate for a long flight.
As usual with Hawaiian, the complementary meal service was excellent. On this flight, we were served the chicken bagel roll. Recently, Hawaiian has been rolling out their bagel roll service on numerous flights. This is a great meal! Not only was it hot and well flavored, it was also rather filling, and the proportion size was perfect for a five hour flight.
Of course, Hawaiian has always been great at the ambiance. The cabin was clean, fresh, and bright. Even though the A321 NEO is no longer a brand new addition to the Hawaiian fleet, it still feels like it just rolled off the assembly line. This, plus the cabin experience, was elevated even more by the stellar crew. They were all super friendly and helpful, which is really nice to see.
Overall, I think this is the way to go if you plan on flying Hawaiian Airlines to and from Hawaii. It is a great way to start or finish your vacation!

We just changed our seats for an upcoming flight to Kauai from regular economy seats to Extra Comfort - 33B and 33C just rear of the lavatory. I hope the lavatory location is not a mistake! Thanks for the review.
