I've just recently started diving into the lore after playing a bunch of vermintide 2 and darktide. And just picked up my first warhammer book today with the Eisen omnibus
Any specific thoughts on Ciaphas Cain novels (anthology omnibuses?) and storyline? Any favourites in the series? Any books on par with or as comprehensively great as the Gaunt series?
Read the first Ciaphas Can and they are definitely a different vibe compared to most 40k series. Been reading Siege of Terra lately and finally on volume 3. I'd strongly suggest the Infinite and the Divine.
In my experience the quality is all over the place. From painfully mediocre (Ragnar stuff) to actually great (Chris Wraight). What would you say are your top 10?
Nooooice. Wish I had a collection like this. I’m gonna go east first and just get the siege of terra series
Ahriman be punching the air rn 😂
ALL IS DUST

A Question, How Much was the total cost of all novels?
Hundreds of dollars easily and some of those books aren't even available anymore
Where do you buy all your books from?
Barnes and Nobles, Borders when they were around, online, and used book stores.
Nice collection I am still new to reading 40k but I have read 10 books so far in this year
Keep reading! It only gets better haha
You make me want to go out and buy more 40k books
Do it lmao
What's a good book to start?
Cadian Blood!
I heard lone wolf was the starting point and then Horus
Any pointers??

All of it haha
Any suggestions for books to start with for someone who knows nothing about 40k?
Cadian Blood or anything by Dan Abnett especially First and Only Series.
Eisenhorn Trilogy, but really you can start almost anywhere and watch RUclips shorts and you'll get a basic understanding of the lore
