Yea, I suppose this channel isn't really big enough to draw attention in that way. Linus tech tips (over 3 million subs?) got their account shut down for that and they had to retroactively take links out of every video and edit them to reapply.

every single podcast, on riotcast and others, tells us to just start with their amazon link, and do your shopping, so I think your warning is hollow
