@@Don_Masno if you have extended warranty then ask for the replacement I just got that today after doing multiple complaints and coordinating with them daily. It took me a week to get the replacement of the product but I had to pay extra cause I bought an expensive one

This is so frustrating! We bought a LG (model LBNC12231V) in May 2022. Since July this year we keep getting this FF error code every two weeks. We are loosing our food and baby stuff every time. I would not suggest LG TO ANYONE!!! Worst appliance EVER!!!!

I have everything at home including washer, dryer, TVs , dehumidifier, range oven, microwave , air purifier all LG brand and never had any issues but fridge built quality is not up to standards. 1000 cad food about to waste . Deja Vu. Had a Northland built-in that had to defrost the auto defrost freezer coil about once a year due to ice build up. Before that, had to go through 3-4 condenser fans before getting one that lasted longer than 6 mo. Sold that house, bought one with a 10-12 yr old Samsung that drained defrost water into the freezer then onto the kitchen floor. Replaced the Samsung with this lovely new self defrosting LG fridge-freezer. 2 1/2 yrs later, FF error code. Is there no longer such a thing as a reliable refrigerator?

Ours is two years old and we’re having the same issue I unplugged it waited eight or 12 hours turned it back on plugged it in for 20 hours. All I feel is barely cold air in the bottom freezer and 65° in the refrigerator called to have a service tech come out he just informed me I’ve been waiting since Wednesday that parts are on back order.. 2200 dollars two years into it. It doesn’t work I had to put all my food family of five in a small refrigerator in my garage. Thank God for the 25-year-old refrigerator ridiculous and to make it worse. Hey there! If your refrigerator is showing the ER(E) FF error code, it means there's an issue with the fan motor in the freezer or refrigerator compartment. Try unplugging the unit or turning off the circuit breaker for about 5 minutes to reset it. If the error is due to ice around the fan, unplug the unit and keep the doors open for a day in summer or three days in winter to melt the ice. @@LGUSASupport repair technician came out. Found that the fan wasn’t plugged in, he tried to install it again. Still won’t work. Was told it will be over a week before the brand new fridge that didn’t even work half a day… will even be attempted to get fixed. So I’m left with no refrigerator in the meantime. Obviously upsetting so I contacted customer support, was told there’s nothing that can be done, can’t expedite the part…and the customer service said LG isn’t legally obligated to compensate for the food that spoiled because of their crappy product failed unless I meet a specific set of criteria for compensation. I am regretting my purchase because no reasonable solution can be made.

BUT found out from Home Depot where I bought the LG refrigerator from that because the issue happened and was reported within the first 48 hours that I was always entitled for a replacement. That I have not received. Only promises of it being fixed, which has yet to occur. LG customer service is the worst. EVERYONE PLEASE CHOOSE SOME OTHER COMPANY TO PURCHASE FROM. Your internal parts can’t even last 2 years. Do better. Was at Lowe’s the other day and the specialists in appliance don’t even recommend buying your products.
