Ahhh Episode 10, week 11 in the football season, AND my husband was just released from the Las Vegas Raiders..meaning he is now a free agent. Have I mentioned that I'm 9 months pregnant? The average NFL career is 3 years. If you make it to 7 fair to say Isaac doesn't suck. Good luck over the next few months. That is a lot of uncertainty to deal with when you are in your last few weeks of pregnancy. It will all work out and this is such an amazing and special time in your life. Baby and your family is what is most important.
While yes, the situation could be worse, it doesn't mean your feelings are any less valid. It's a tough situation especially since you are 9 months pregnant.
I can't wait to see you go HOME and start nesting and settling in for the holidays...also, I think it's great that Isaac will be there to enjoy every minute of it❤

Please don’t invalidate your own feelings because of the internet. Don’t allow social media to make you feel like you need to humble yourself down. Y’all are amazing people who are going through a lot. Regardless of what level it’s on, it’s a tough time that I couldn’t imagine going through. I pray over y’all’s peace and these next few months with baby girl 🫶🏼
I’m not pregnant and never have been, but I can’t imagine the stress you feel moving with only 4 weeks left. I feel stressed for you😅 it will work out the way it’s supposed to ❤
As someone who’s had 3 kids and had to move a lot for my husband’s job, I have to say how all of your emotions are normal and totally valid. I love how you both talk through things and make sense of it all together. Isaac has such a calming spirit that I hope helps as you make these tough decisions. I love that you do what is best for your family together. All best as you get to nesting in CA. I hope friends help unpack, and you get to put your feet up a bit!
I hate how people think that just because you make a lot of money or whatever, that negates your feelings. Praying for the perfect call for your family and safe delivery for mommy and baby!! Can’t wait to see where this journey takes you guys! And I don’t even watch football, I just feel like y’all are very real and relatable!
November 14 is very triggering for me, it’s the date my sibling passed away. Years have gone by and healing is still a process. Sending you love and good vibes, you’ve got this 💕
You are allowed to be upset and still feel companion for other people in other situations! Bless you guys...i'm so sorry you have to deal with this 💗At least you'll have the last 4 weeks of your pregnancy with Issac there 24/7 (he better dote on you even more now) (p.p.s the raiders are cancelled)

As a man who tried out for several NFL teams after college and for one reason or another never made any of them, I commend you sir for being in the show for 7yrs. Also congrats on your baby! After college I became a PhD and I can share with you that my plan B was even better than my plan A. So you will do well in life. Just figure out what is your passion and create that business! Cool podcast! Just popped up on my page. As a lifelong football fan from Denver, this is a fascinating look behind the scenes. It really helps to understand the fraternity of players, teams are interchangeable, and rivalries are just for the fans. You guys appear to be great together! I could only relate as I've worked in The Radio Industry and know all to well about all the moving around, I actually worked On-Air in Vegas Radio back in 2004 for a uhhhh "interesting" year lol. I'm not a super Sports Fan so I have no idea how the algorithm came across this episode, but I'm happy to have watched and supported. My son plays for the Western Mustangs - on of the top teams in the Canadian University league and he is 19 - he is a tackle - we have experience the ups and downs this year - dressing, to playing to starting and then back to not playing....it is a roller coaster!!!

As a former athlete, there are so many variables whether or not a pro team keeps you. People don't understand what goes on behind the scenes and the business moves teams make. It is the nature of the beast. I challenge anyone to go out and put in the physical work a pro athlete puts in. It sucks to be released, fired, laid off, or whatever you want to call it.

1."He should be better at football." Reality = Isaac was better at playing football probably at age 15 than anyone on here will be at anything they do in their entire adult lives. That's just the reality of getting to where he got let alone to hang in for 7 years (so far). 2. I dare anyone to bet me that Isaac won't be even more successful at whatever he does post-football but, then again, I'm an Irish fan and know a little buit about him. P.S. Congrats on the baby, guys!

Imagine being a 60 year old single grandma whose being evicted by the end of the month with an 8 year old special needs grandson and can’t find a place to go to! No Christmas this year.

I’ve been telling my son to stop playing football due to mental and political games. Education degrees longevity is a much better choice.

Curious because I don’t know much but say he got a 24 hour call and you were in labor. Would he be excused for that 24 hour rule and get like 2 days to just enjoy family time. So excited for you guys and your little girl. The kitty love in the video is great!
It’s wild to me that anyone would tell you that you’re being tone deaf. Any pregnant woman weeks away from delivering and unexpectedly losing income, and having to move, would be stressed. Having money doesn’t change that. Sending love and prayers, God knows what he’s doing, and maybe there is some reason you don’t understand quite yet. Get your California home set up and focus on baby coming.

It’s so much!! I’m 7 months pregnant and broke as shit but this sucks too. Like you said everyone has their own struggles but yours is still a lot. It’s still years of your life and now the most important time you aren’t going to get back. You want to be comfortable where you choose to be. Good luck and I’m excited for you to have the baby! 🩷🩷

I hate that you feel you have to apologize for your emotions. No matter where someone is in their lives getting "fired/released" or giving birth and having to uproot is emotional no matter your pay grade!
