Thanks! I have been looking at various Radiator guards for my New 2017 KTM S.Adv. T Bike, And was wondering how difficult it was to install, Well You summed it up, Looks like a easy task to do.
Get one of those as standard on the Tiger XCA and 800 xca, also on the scrambler. Always seems to be the same with the more expensive bikes from Ducati, BMW, KTM etc you appear to get less as standard. Triumph although with similar priced kit , just get more. Is that a fair observation.?
Mike Stewart Hi Mike, yeah I think that’s broadly fair. This is the ‘bottom of the range’ KTM adventure bike, so there is an element of cost savings. Having said that the bike comes as standard with Marchesini wheels, brembo brakes, magura clutch and white power suspension. If I had paid full price it would have been a more difficult decision, but this was a brand new preregistration bike with £2500 off the list price. Easy choice
Really nice bike btw. I had BMW 1200 gs adv for 10 years and the Tiger 800 xca for 6 months this year. Now got a Street scrambler on order, picking her up Friday 1 st Dec. Touring for me now is not likely as my mates and my bros do different things, I don’t like camping so the majority of my rides are about a maximum of 100mile radius of home. Are you going to do some touring with your new bike. Did you get the usual stuff from the wife that most of us get when adding to the stable, “ why do you need another bike, you can only ride one at a time” 😫😂😂 hope you enjoy the KTM. Cheers👍🏻
Total rip off ! Bought one from China for my 2020 Z900 £21 including delivery 🤗 E bay " perfect fit and looks great 🤸 R and G just summarise whats wrong with the Uk and why we shop for goods on line from China 🙃 Greedy as Fuck 😁 End of !!!
Or you could flip it and view it that companies like R&G do the design and development work and factories in China just 'rip off' the designs and therefore make it cheaper, possibly but not always with lesser quality materials? #justsayin
Hmm " not a lot of design or development goes into a tail tidy or a rad guard , if you have workshop and the gear easy to make and cheap 🤸I used to work in the fabrication industry , Like i Said rip off Britain people hate the truth ! End of 😝

Nice review and I fitted these to my Ducati and they are top quality, offer fantastic protection for the radiator and they also look good
Neill dont you think this radiator guards make the temperature of the cooling SYSTEM rise 4-5 degrees?

Views from the Man Cave sounds like a good deal. The scrambler is a Lings ex dem 900 miles April this year. This will be my only bike now.
