Awesome video! I never knew NS 3991 (aka CEFX 1040) was involved in this accident until I found out now. I remember seeing that unit on 25A with a Stolen numberboard and horn missing. Also, did you know that 3991 and all of the other Ex-CEFX AC4400CW's that NS bought are going to be rebuilt to the AC44C6M's?
@@haaseshouseoscience6377 thanks for watching :) I expected that NS would probably do something with the CEFX AC44s before permanently putting them in service. Didn’t know that they would, be rebuilt, though.
Yeah. They tried to investigate it using their own investigators at first, but when CP employees got began to realize the company was at fault, they tried to cover it up by publicly announcing that the workers in question were disgruntled and shouldn’t be trusted.
A separate documentary made on the accident. Not exactly sure if it is the actual onboard image recording or not. It is the upper spiral tunnel, though I’m pretty sure.
Fun fact: The train footage I used for the credits was the very same train days before the accident. Thanks to Canadian Trains for the footage!
Must have been a shock to those railfans to find out it was the same train they filmed.

@@MangoTheOne the funny thing was that I actually though NS was gonna just repaint the former Bluebirds. But after hearing them being rebuilt changed.
