Newfoundlander here! I live on a Island called (no joke) Random Island. Loving the videos of your time here! I believe the machinery @ 9:14 is an old steam engine - from what I'm not too sure. Keep up the awesome videos guys!!!
You guys have so inspired me to take a trip to newfoundland. The views are exquisite!!! I'm not a foodie at all (although the donuts are up my alley...) , but I love parking near water for days at a time, then finding more water.
@@MathersOnTheMap I also live on the east coast (LBI was my summer haunt), so I watched your east coast series when I went to Maine and to outer banks. I'll look again for my winter FL trip.
Great video guys. And little man is a handsome little dude and such a good temperament. Your Newfoundland series has convinced us it must be on our bucket list.
Thanks Greg! We are currently using Starlink in the van. Holafly for our phones 🤙🏻 we have a coupon code mathersonthemap for 5% off your order with Holafly
"Tourists" simply see the visuals of a magnificent shore line, but "Travelers" appreciate the sound that crashing waves make as well! vlog 👍 Buena Suerte y vaya con Dios! ☀🌵😎
Hey Guys, glad to see your back on the road with your new baby boy. Loved the van build videos. Question: how would it be pulling a 5th wheel through there and staying for a few weeks. Did you see many Rv parks. Thinking of doing Newfoundland next year. Safe travels
Lucas! I've seen some of your vids!! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance in Newfoundland, there was swell about 4 hours from where we were when it hit the coast and it's too difficult to push it with the little guy. I did score in Halifax, Nova Scotia though, pretty fun up there!
@@MathersOnTheMap No way, I've been following you guys since your epic Unstad session! Thats really cool, my dream is to do this kinda east coast Canada trip with a proper quiver and score some waves!
Question: If you don't mind the van being off level a bit and you have a compressor fridge, is there really any compelling technical reason to level it? Obviously, being level is nice but is there any technical reason why you have to be level?
It's working great we've been using it a ton! The lowest temps we've seen are 48°F though so still not freezing cold, but we mainly use heated the floor and haven't needed the air blower yet other than one night, but we also keep the van at 68-70 for the baby in the van. It be nice to have the van a little colder, but little man can't use a blanket yet. Excited to test it out in colder temps!
hi young people, when do you consciously live a healthy life? Coffee yes but not capsule poison chemistry then you can drink Beñat water from the swimming pool and eat at McDonald kind regards
Newfoundland is Gods country. It has everything….mountains, lakes beaches, ocean, fijords, wild places, and cities( small ones). The air is fresh, and clean. And it’s people???!! The salt of the earth!! Sorry I’m a little biased.😛
...and Taylor talks just like a South Jersey girl. That's a good thing.

You won't regret it! Lots of places to park around water, can't beat it!

Nice-baby is so cute! Thinking of going to Twillingate next May and hoping to see icebergs. Question-What are you using for internet there?

Love this!
Awesome video, guys! And, yes, I'm binging your NE adventures, as that is going to my next adventure route. Safe travels!

Fantastic coverage guys, you’re little fella is absolutely gorgeous……we make sandwiches for the ferry crossings.
The best place!
Did you get some of that Lee swell? Nova Scotia has some really good point breaks. Just gotta know where to go!
I scored in Cow Bay in NS, didn't get lucky in NFLD unfortunately.

Thanks Scott! There are a TON of RV parks you'd be fine, plenty of big rigs and campgrounds and with the truck you can go everywhere!
Wondering how the new build is working out? Would love to hear how you are loving or disliking any adjustments that you made from the last van.
Don’t worry about the crumbs…he will get a lot more on you in time and you won’t feel bad about it anymore 😂😅
hahahaha I believe it!!!
Hope you guys get to surf!

Wade likes the camping spot, the camera doesn't lie.
yes he did! (his name's Wyatt by the way 😄 haha) Thanks for watching!!!
Wyatt...noted.
How is the hydronic heating system working out for you guys for flooring, air, and water? I've held off on buying this system until I learned more.

Do you have the GPS coordinates for the free campsite??
We share every spot we slept in the van on our Patreon www.patreon.com/mathersonthemap
Ok! @@MathersOnTheMap
Can you share the locations you went on Google Maps?
I'm going to put something together, might keep it on patreon though, I'm not sure yet.
The entire west cost of Florida has a sunset view.
Oh damn....duh! Haha we never been on the gulf side of Florida so I guess that's why I never thought of it.

Always 👍🏻
We camped there 5 years in the same spot every day we had Humpback whales swim past
Sounds incredible Robert, I was bummed we missed whale season!
